  1. Hello Are there any cleaners out there who would be able to come to SE5 tomorrow and Friday and do a 3 hour clean of a few rooms and a change of beds please? From around 10.30am. Close to Myatt?s Fields. Thank you.
  2. Can anyone recommend a good and reliable automatic cat feeder? Having looked on online reviews they all seem to have their faults. We've only recently acquired the cat after the previous owner died but hadn't thought about weekends away. Obviously if we were away for a week I'd get someone to pop in but this is only a 2 night camping trip. Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks.
  3. We are having to rip out our old bathroom and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for online bathroom suppliers? I know Bell's are good but I fear they will be too expensive. I have also used Bathstore before but I'm not sure their taps and fittings will stand the test of time (especially with small children). Has anyone had good experiences with online suppliers such as betterbathrooms or Victoria plum etc? I need to find suppliers before I book the builder. Many thanks
  4. Thank you so much PandG and those who have PM'd.
  5. Hi there Can anyone recommend a person or company to manage the freehold of a building containing three flats? We are about to complete buying the freehold with our neighbour but feel that we are clueless on how to manage notice for service charges etc and to actually manage and calculate the whole thing (the third flat did not buy in to the freehold). Any recommendations or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden is lovely and women only. I was there on Wednesday! It's ?75 midweek but not sure how much on saturdays. Check their website. I definitely recommend it if you want to treat yourself.
  7. Thank you all for your advice. We spoke to the developer who apologised and offered to do some other work for us. Great, but he couldn't confirm that he had used a surveyor and our house was fine. I'll speak to the council first thing on Monday. Thanks again everyone.
  8. Could anybody give me some advice please. A developer started work last week refurbishing the house next door, which is great as it has been empty for a while. However, I came home today to find supporting props holding their rear wall up and a new steel put in place (probably for bifolding doors) but they have knocked out a few of our bricks to make space to fit the steel which is about 6inches in to our property and a few bricks have cracked underneath. We have had no prior discussion, consultation or any party wall agreement or notice. This was a surprise to us today. There is also some damage to the plaster work on the inside. We've arranged to meet the builder this weekend to discuss the issue but would welcome any knowledge and advice as we are new to this. CAN ANYBODY HELP PLEASE?!!
