Why would anybody want their Parents to stay in the area?? Safer bet is to find somewhere outside of SE5/SE22 & travel in to visit, after all despite the problems in the area we are blessed with a fantastic Public Transport System.

I walked it there......much safer than using the roads which after all were built for Cars.

Maybe "cyclists" should stick to the parks? Good enough for me when I rode a bicycle.

Why don't you just simply buy your Fruit & Veg at Morrisons? It's nice and cheap without all the hassle of digging over ground etc, etc...
