  1. Thanks Sue and PeckhamGateCrasher, that's a great idea - I'm going to pop in and ask if they have the footage.
  2. Hi Kelpie Thanks so much for posting this! My husband is the one that had the near miss and he was really shaken up. He did mention that a lovely lady had taken the reg and helped him calm down a bit. Unfortunately, when he called the police later that day they couldn't trace the car with the information he gave. He wants to pass on his thanks to your mum for being so lovely and helpful. If anyone does have more information on this, we'd be really grateful so we can update the police. They were crossing between Just Williams and the EDT. Absolutely no reason for a car to be going faster than 20mph and miss a bright yellow pushchair.
  3. Thanks for flagging, KrackersMaracas. I doesn't look like the same dog in the picture on that thread, as she was definitely more of a toffee colour. The owner was blond though with short hair and a black leather jacket and I'd say a bit older than the lady in the picture on that thread. The puppy is doing fine thanks, it's so lucky that someone stepped in to get the dog off. It's shocking that these unruly dogs can't even be reported to a local warden or park ranger.
  4. Hey Dbboy, i called 101 but all they can do is log the incident and take no further action.
  5. KidKruger, the staffie was a toffee/caramel colour bitch with a black harness and I'd say she was pretty large.
  6. I just wanted to give any dog walkers a heads up about a dangerous staffie in Peckham Rye park. I was there today walking with my friend and her puppy (on it's lead) when we were approached by a staffie off it's lead. For a split second , we thought it was being friendly but it suddenly tried to grab my friend's puppy by the throat and attack it. Thankfully a man helped drag the staffie off (I'm 9 months pregnant and my friend was trying the get her puppy away). The owner eventually turned up but didn't even apologise. She was also quite an old lady that i no way could have been strong enough to control that dog. Thankfully the puppy was just very shaken up but this could have been a lot worse. if there is anywhere to report dangerous dogs locally I'd love to know as this dog should be on a harness and wear a muzzel at the very least.
  7. I've now been training with Jen for about 6 weeks and the change in my body shape has been quite incredible. Being quite a seasoned runner anyway, I didn't realise what a difference training with Jen would deliver in terms of fitness levels and definition. I've almost doubled the distance I run as I'm getting a lot stronger and I'm doing things that I've never been able to achieve physically alone in the gym. Notably going from 1 sit up 6 weeks ago to now 50! I've also really loved working with weights and Jen has been a great (and very patient) coach. She's given great nutritional advice too and I'm confident I'll fit into my wedding dress next year! Would highly recommend her!
