  1. Thank you, all of you for your suggestions.... Jeremy thank you for you offer, kind sir! I will take you up on it! I have a yamaha MT50, yamaha - can't remember the number of the top of my head- reverb unit, denon DR550 for the mix, an 18th century version of Cubase, 2 archeic mics (Hama)and not much else, so as you can guess, the mix leaves alot to be desired! Any equipment from this millenium or advice would be gladly welcome!
  2. Just seen one on Lordship Lane for you Snorky...a bit flat though....any good with resuscitation techniques?
  3. Thanks to you both....I am a songwriter....so just need some basic but good quality demos...I have finally come to the conclusion that my recording equipment would do better with Hugh Scully on an Antiques Roadshow...but ther is so much stuff out there now I would not know what to buy, so it's best if I leave it to the experts. Good idea about sharing studio time...thanks Muffintop
  4. Hi there Does anyone know a good, local(ish) recording studio where I can record my songs? Or do you know a producer that can help me get some quality demos done?

  10. Hello there Just logged in to the forum and noticed your message. Do you still have your hogs? I used to have a sanctuary in Cornwall (only just moved to East Dulwich) and there are a few things you need to check before the colder weather starts to set in. Normally if a Hog is out in the day it means they have worms and need to be treated (vets usually give free treatment under the wildlife scheme) as they will not survive otherwise. If they are walking around as if they are 'drunk'....it means they are very poorly. Also, they need to be a particular weight at this time of year to make sure they survive the winter... above 500g....the more the merrier... Another thing is not to give them cat food with any fish derivities in it and it severely affects their digestion. I might be able to help if there are still under your ivy...just let me know. Gabby
