  1. Hi all, For those whose partners are interested in meeting up and did not sign up for the emails via Irene: The dads r planning to meet tomorrow 8pm at the actress on northcross rd/crystal palace rd.
  2. I agree with Jules, I had a lovely time today. I am Christine and was sitting next to Jules (long hair, glasses). Hopefully see you all again soon for another catch up.
  3. Thank you all! I will check out your suggestions. Can't wait to get a bit of sun with this weather!
  4. No idea where would be good to go with kids as this will be my first! But does sound like the park is off... What a shame!
  5. Hello, I will be travelling to Spain for a week in August when I will be 24-25 weeks pregnant. Does anyone have recommendations for travel insurance which includes full medical cover for premature birth etc? Many thanks!
  6. I am also up for meeting other moms during the week, albeit from next month. Will be off on Wednesdays and Fridays. This is my first, so don't have a little one to take along to water park as yet... But will also definitely be coming on 17th. Zoe - Tiffany Rose has lovely dresses. They are a bit on the expensive side of things but super comfortable and stunning. You might be able to bid for one on ebay...
  7. I am due with my first on the 27th November. So early days, but would certainly love to catch up. 17th July is good for me too.
  8. I would like to recommend Host UK, a charity which matches international students who are studying in the UK with host families for weekend visits or Christmas/Easter visits. My partner and I hosted a student from China over Christmas and had a wonderful time. It was a great opportunity to share British Christmas traditions whilst at the same time learning about Chinese culture. If you are interested, all the information is on their website: http://www.hostuk.org.uk/ To apply to become a host family, you can contact the organisation and they will pass on your details to the regional organiser in London, you then complete an application form and the regional organiser pays you a visit - just to check that the accommodation for the student is as described. We were all signed up within a couple of weeks.
