  1. I was thinking more in terms of rules and regs affecting current owners of cars not equipped with this technology. Of course stop-start negates all the issues, especially since the car is designed to be constantly stopping and starting the engine.
  2. I can understand the point, but: What about when someone is working on a car? To diagnose faults the engine may need to running. Also if anything if being powered by the battery then without the alternator going it can all too easily be run flat. Obviously not a reason to *not* introduce much needed legislation to cut emissions but a blanket ban could be annoying. What if you pull over to quickly answer the phone (as in stopped for 30 seconds) What about the need to properly defrost the car on a cold day before it is safe to drive off? Again I agree with the idea, just suggestions as to how it ought to be carefully introduced
  3. "This is about the 'what happened'. " It's also about people being aware. For their safety, which I consider fairly important. If not for a good bit of gossip, the purpose of this thread is to make people aware, alert and vigilant, so that they can stay safe, and perhaps report possible suspects (Although obviously that is less relevant now.) The point is, providing a better description would help keep people safer and make the guy more likely to meet justice. Perhaps I'm wrong, and there is legitimate "good reason" not to describe them, in which case that's acceptable.
  4. Some criminals use jammers to stop remotes from locking the door. Always watch the indicators flash and if possible observe the door locks moving into place. Never leave any valuables in sight, or signs of them (clean the marks off the windscreen). It is preferable to take all of / as many as possible of any valuables kept in the car out when leaving the car. Try to park somewhere well lit and in public view. If you happen to pass the car at any point, it doesn't hurt to quickly look and ensure the doors are still locked.
  5. It would also result in the loss of at least one car parking in the road taking up spaces here... I see no problem with this specific situation.
  6. Bluerevolution: How would you feel if your home was on fire, or anyone in your families was, and you were told they died inside because the nearest fire engine was dealing with a bonfire. Because while the chances seem low, it is possible for there to be a serious fire at the same time. Do you want to risk peoples lives?
  7. I would like to purchase these from indie stores in Dulwich. 1.)Glass Hammer 2.)Long weight 3.)Tartan paint 4.)Left handed screwdriver
  8. Ah- I don't think this quite applies to me.
  9. I don't quite understand why you are, to put it eloquently, "taking the Michael". I'm simply looking for somewhere to meet with likeminded individuals, and have a shoot, without venturing to Peckham's "gun clubs", as they could be described.
  10. Whatever you do, don't allow them to die! British bees are in a large shortage, in fact it is endangering our food supplies!
  11. Hello, does anyone know of any gun / rifle clubs in Dulwich, or nearby? Thank you for your help!
  12. So, our high streets are being taken over by large, immigrant chain stores. We should form together, support the independent stores of our area, before, like others, we lose them.
  13. Yes. Don't you know they have to change the flight path so as to evenly distribute the chem-trails when a group becomes to self aware.
