Anna, Calaid is operating a drop off on 6th Sept in Dalston for sleeping bags and tents. I'm hoping to arrange a local drop off point closer to us before then, but I'll be I and out of town for the next 2 weeks. Calaid will have rolling collections though. I'm planning to set up a SE London person to person Calais support group on FB so we canal coordinate, because there are lots of people doing things and we'll all be more efficient if we know who' sodding what. No need to reinvent the wheel if someone's already doing something! Some people are dropping off donations of consumables at my house in SE4 until we know where else to amass them. I'll ask a few local cafes and churches if they could be drop points. Hellosailor thanks for working on this more! Let us know when you can how your friend would like to get donations. I can take what I've accumulated to her.

Ok, I'll start ramping up the food/consumables donation effort and work out transport to Brighton later. Anyone who would like to donate tinned ready to eat food and consumables like sanitary products, hygiene products, nappies, etc please PM me. We are near Brockley/Ladywell and I'm on maternity leave so I'm around lots!
