Used a metal detector for the first time yesterday in my back garden.soon as I switched on got a strong signal.dug down about a metre found nothing cut a long story short .where ever I went in the garden I got a strong signal after digging about 15 holes and finding nothing .remembered I was wearing steel toe cap boots .

Sue shot in the dark .but did you remove the t and g from under your stairs.and have been running up and down as Quickly as possible and getting out of breath and dizzy.in case the stairs do collapse.
