  6. Dani is a great coach. Here's his website: https://londonkickersfc.class4kids.co.uk/
  7. Can anywhere recommend a car hire company with local pickup? We are looking to hire an SUV for a UK holiday. Recommendations for comparison websites which offer competitive deals would also be appreciated. Thanks
  8. The below link will send a prewritten email to your local MP telling them to take action for Palestine. All you need to do is enter your postcode, then complete with your name and address. It takes less than a minute. https://www.foa.org.uk/campaign/save-sheikh-jarrah/

I expect the answer to this is in another thread, but has planning for the estate on Green Dale been granted?
  10. Royal Mail names areas hit by Covid postal delays....no SE22 to be seen on that list! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55591063
  11. Hope this post may save someone a wasted trip - the system is currently down in all post offices, they are unable to say when it may return. Probably best to leave it an hour or so.... Edited to say, I'm not sure if this applies to post office accounts / money transactions.
  12. I have also encountered this man in Sainsbury's local. He shouted obscenities at me, and threatened to sexually abuse my baby (who was with me at the time). It left me really shaken, but I didn't report it as no crime had been committed. What happened to you, Sicilia, sounds really scary and shows he could be / is a danger. This man needs to be avoided.
  13. Perhaps the attached could a viable plan for ED...hopefully people will be sensible and keep their distance, and lots of (Halloween) masks will be worn!
  14. We have four foxes regularly visit our garden on Overhill Road. One now has an injured back leg and is unable to use it. It is difficult to tell from the photo if it is the same fox, but it seems to be doing ok, and is moving around. I don't think anyone would be able to get close enough to it, to be able to treat it. I'll keep an eye out and will call the fox project if I think its condition is deteriorating.
  15. Signed and shared - what a great thing you have done. Thank you! Looking forward to coming to see it.
  16. I think The Herne is offering a takeaway beer menu (2 pints minimum) between 5pm and 8pm Thurs-Sat.
  17. Hi Ellie, I highly recommend Su Bakes Cakes! https://instagram.com/su_bakescakes?igshid=1difvh3swoh0z L
  18. I saw a bat/bats on Overhill Road last week. Do they only appear during the hot weather, or do I see them because I?m outside on hot nights? We also have a starling visit us daily to feast on berries. The tree is very close to our back door, but it has become used to us watching.
  19. Not being able to swallow to drink fluids is serious. If you feel your son is ill enough that he needs urgent medical treatment, and in ?normal? circumstances you would take him to A&E, please do not avoid doing so now. See attached from a Consultant Paediatrician. I hope you get the treatment he needs.
  20. I saw (what I thought) was a peregrine falcon in Dulwich Woods this morning!
  21. Hi Renata, Is there the chance cemeteries will be closed, or has this already happened?
  22. Today I helped two families with donations of baby items via the classifieds section. I ensured all items were clean and safe, and left everything on my doorstep to be collected (no face to face contact). Payments can be made online, so no cash need be exchanged / contact made, but there is the risk that the virus can live on surfaces. it does pose some risk.
  23. Bicknell Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Saw this from Clean Air Dulwich > https://twitter.com/i/status/1220453205718511616 Phase 3 of Our Healthy Streets has been published, including proposals for changes to the Village layout. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/transport-and-roads/roadworks-and-highway-improvements/street-improvements/our-healthy-streets-dulwich It will impact the Village area and Burbage and Turney Roads where there will be further consultations about proposals for timed access restrictions, permeable closure/one way entry and parking controls.
  24. I?m sorry you?re going through this - it must be very upsetting to be on the receiving end of frightening attacks, when all you want is to offer a loving home to your pet. You have been given some sound advice, and I haven?t owned cats for many years, but I do remember reading that playing with flashlights / laser pens can bring about erratic behaviour in cats and dogs - it frustrates them a lot, as their prey instinct causes them to chase but they are unable to catch the light. They can also become very confused and anxious as they do not understand where the light is coming from - these type of games may not help your cat, if already showing signs of being anxious. I hope things work out for you all.
