Crebor is having it's water main updated to plastic. They are digging up the whole road. It's meant to finish mid-march! The pressure has dropped for sure. You need to call Thames Water and complain. There seems to be a leak in the road at the moment which will be affecting the pressure. Yesterday the guys updating the water main told us they were turning off our water. When they turned it on again 30 mins later we had very low pressure. They sent a plumber round today to check internally. He removed some sludge from our taps and things are better. I'm not sure it'll be the same for everyone because of the leak in the road but it helped us. Wonder if one end of the road has better pressure than the other.

I'd check your lease (if you own your flat). Quite often there are clauses regarding the use of carpet in upstairs flats. Might help you. -

No post for over a month - total joke. -
I think it should stay open, nothing on the website to say otherwise

I feel your pain NewWave but I have to say in my experience it's precisely the opposite experience. I have witnessed plenty of female joggers running in the road to give space to pedestrians and not many male joggers. Perhaps it's 50/50 after all. I also try and step aside for courteous runners as they are trying to keep fit which should be seen as a decent thing to do. Totally understand some won't find that as easy especially with the stealth runners that suddenly appear from behind.

are any toilet facilities open in Dulwich park?

Not sure of the link between tennis courts and toilets? I think I am missing something. I played tennis many times before and not needed the loo. -

I imagine they aren't opening the toilets as it's very hard to police their use. They are also discouraging people from going out to the park (or out in general) for long periods of time. Think of the poor Southend End beach that was inundated with people. The sea would have taken a battering. Perhaps people should stay at home a little longer. -
If there's one thing the British are meant to be good at it's queuing. If we can't get that right we've got no chance. I like number 3 KidKruger.

Just fixed my puncture and going to go out for a ride (to the shops and to do some exercise). I have seen more people closer than two metres in shops, on paths and in parks than on the road cycling. Just be nice and don't be a t*&t then we'll all be okay.

Hmm...I find it hard to see how people haven't been able to keep up with the advice. It's across all news sites, all news TV, the daily updates from downing street and a lots of shops have info on their doors. When a serious national and international crisis is happening you would have thought people may decide to take a small interest and follow just one news outlet. Anyway, I came on here to see how Sainsbury's was doing, maybe I'll pop down.

Look up Creative Living SE - Ken O'Neil. He did our side return last year and was great. Good price and very quick, only does one job at a time so you don't have to worry about them disappearing off the job.

Buy yourself a SDS hammer-drill (https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb278sds-6-3kg-corded-sds-plus-drill-230-240v/97533) and a few plastic sheets. It'll take about an hour. I just did exactly that, although we covered again with tiles and didn't leave it bare. Really easy and loads of fun!
