  1. I don't know if I should be more shocked about some one actually admitting to reading the Observer or the fact that no one buys porn any more....its free on the net.
  2. I thought I was the white prick ! Totally confused now. I was quite getting used to it as well.
  3. When this monumental event happens the amount of seizures and strokes in East Dulwich is going to hit an all time high. Lets be honest most news papers are now crap as they have all sacked so many staff and pick up most of their news via google and the AP. The only papers worth reading are the FT and Evening Standard for gossip, although now I read far more on-line that I do IRL. I wonder how many people he will offend with his first op ed, its bound to be sexist racist and homophobic.
  4. Erections at camp sites have never been my thing but I do know down by Charent-Maritime section of France they have good weather from spring to autumn due to a micro climate.
  5. When my kids were that young we used to book villas in Provence with Meon, not too hot and an hour or so from the beach. We found most of our time was spent wondering around village markets for that days food with the occasional road trip to Monte Carlo, Italy or Cap Ferrat for beaches and shopping. The other benefit was we could drive down overnight with the kids asleep in the back. Looking back they were some of the best holidays we ever had. We also used to take the benefit of not being linked to school holidays at that age to do some long haul trips with overnight flights for quite a low cost. Our best was the Beau Rivage in Mauritius, amazing with kids and just a dream holiday but not stupid prices like the really expensive ones on the island.
  6. Yes of course you are totally and utterly correct.....as all ways
  7. It would seem that I am wrong then, I shall have to reconsider my opinion. "Destitute Plus" A very sad phrase, as if destitute wasn't quite bad enough.
  8. The IRA and the recent terrorists are totally different by the single fact that they were not wishing to die during their atrocity. I may be wrong and please correct me if I am but in the last 10 years all the suicide bombers / terrorist are Muslim, i haven't yet heard of any Jews Hindus Buddhist or Christians doing the same. I was listening to the radio yesterday morning on a debate about this Muslim cleric who wants march at Wooten Basset against the war in Afghanistan, benefits of ?25,000 it said, hardly ?38.00 per week.
  9. We are three years into a decade long "cold spell" due to the sun being quiet at the moment, but when it does warm up we will actually get even colder as the warm conveyor belt of air that comes up from the south Atlantic will stop once the icecaps melt and de-salinate the water. After ten years of cold winters I wonder how the climate change debate/ global warming debate will fair then? The point I can agree with you on is ,How can we trust the Met Office with any data when they keep getting it so wrong, barbecue summer and a mild winter wasn't it.
  10. The Irish terrorist were different in so much as they didn't want to die during the attack. When your dealing with a group of people who believe that dying is a positive thing it makes it nigh on imposable to defend against it. I do believe any foreign national who is claiming benefits should at the very least want to join our society and partake in being British, be that a British Muslim ,Hindu,Jew or Christian. We are after all a nation of immigrants, unless of course you have red hair and speak Gaelic. People have come here for century's and joined British society whilst still keeping their own cultural identity, why is it we have such problems with a small minority of Muslims. You don't hear of the Hindus or Jews running around screaming death to the infidels. The reason it happens is because we allow it to happen, we are too worried about upsetting people. Any immigrant, especially one who is getting benefits, who thinks and acts in such a way as to do harm to this country should be told to go, its fairly simple if you don't like it here, leave and leave now, not in five years time after going to court. Why would any country put up with such a bizarre situation, who else does? I certainly don't believe anybody should be kicked out simply because their foreign, but if they are here we should expect a positive contribution from them even if its only cultural and not financial. Will we be attacked for this, yes. Will we be attacked again anyway, yes
  11. Mockney and Keef Why don't you check out how many alleged terrorists/fanatics in this country are on benefits, as whenever i see article about these people we are trying to get rid of but cant they all ways seem to be benefit claimers with huge families and legal aid, how many we are trying to deport but cant because we are not committed to ridding the country of undesirables. I actually don't read the Mail as it is just a gossip rag dressed up as news, FT all the way as its the only paper that doesn't spin. Still not quite sure what a troll is, they live under bridges don't they? I cant see what that has got to do with inflammatory posting, whether its a stupid post is debatable but there is an issue with this country's lack of ability to deport and our well-fair service being used by people who have never contributed to this country and have no good will towards it.
  12. You would have been arrested for provoking a fight. He would have been given counselling more benefits and a bigger house.
  13. Slippered , caned, and hit over the knuckles with a plastic rod that the physics teacher referred to lovingly as Candy, as in "Do you want some candy boy" all the way through the 70s and early 80s. Thats not to mention what the Fencing Prof used to do with Epee's and Foils to boys who didn't perform well. Never did me no harm! *Twitches uncontrollably and reaches for his pills*
  14. SteveT you are so wrong we welcome all drug dealers and terrorist with open arms give them accommodation benefits and even if they encourage others to carry out atrocities in the UK still don't kick them out or even lock them up. Where is your liberal bleeding heart SteveT? We must be the laughing stock of the criminal/terrorist world. When I was young I used to be proud to be British but know I view it as an embarrassment, we are so tied up in PC liberal thinking that we are sliding down the world order quickly while the politicians and their cronies line their pockets. We are scared shltless the bankers will leave so continue to bend over for them and have let mindless thugs take control of our street, the police are impotent and the courts powerless to do anything meaningful about it. The country is going to the dogs . can Cameron save it , I doubt it very much. Good riddance to scum with this dead drug dealer. He was dealing in Heroin so deserved all he got, I wonder how many of you actually know the misery that drug causes to so many normal families here in the UK.
  15. Use a free tool called Revo uninstaller to erase all of the program you want gone. AVG is excellent and free as Mockney says.
  16. Yeah I often remember back to the old days pre global warming when winters were cold and we had snow and summers were just mild but wet.
  17. Dongee, My wife left the bakery at 3pm yesterday and got in at 8:30pm and we live just past Bromley
  18. I recall a lawyer friend once telling me that its better to kill a burglar than seriously injure them them as dead people don't make as good a prosecution witness as live people and they cant disagree with your version of events.
  19. By doing what they are doing the Union has effectively signed its members own P45. If this strike happens who in their right mind would book a BA flight in the future, it is also just plain nasty messing up peoples Christmas. On a purely selfish note I hope they do go bust as it would open up a lot of slots that they block other customer focused airlines from getting. I haven't flown BA for years as they are overpriced cr*p, I would rather fly Ryanair and that's saying something.
  20. It was at the time a generally held belief that when BA sold Go it actually sold the wrong bit of the company and it was in fact Go that was valuable not BA.
  21. Totally with you on that one Molly!!! *Looks at bare wrists and wonders where his plan went wrong*
  22. Rings and bracelets are always a nice gift but equally valuable would be a hand bag from Channel or Hermes
  23. Stanley Gibbons in the strand and more than likely on-line.
  24. Maybe she's not so sure about you and wants her kids view on whether you are worth it.
  25. My 12 year old daughter is in bed by 9pm. When she gets to sleep is pretty much up to her but I think its about 10ish after chatting on facebook to her school friends who she has chatted to all day!!!!
