  1. Also try King's Pirates- you can find details if you do a search here
  2. We can also recommend Chryssanthi (and her brother); as they are currently working on an exciting refurb for us! ------------------------------------------------------- > Chryssanthi Perpatidou [email protected] > - She won the competition for the cafe at > Mountsfield Park in Lewisham which just got > planning! > https://www.architecture.com/FindAnArchitect/Archi > tectPractices/OfficetwentyfiveArchitectureLLP/Proj > ects/MountsfieldParkCafe-144355.aspx
  3. Yes- because we do the same to Sydenham which means that you have a chance of getting a seat! Also as I said earlier we now have access to the Victoria/ Orpington line which is great for lots of reasons.
  4. Hi We moved last year to Sydenham after 16 years of living in Ed; and don't regret it. One of the plus points for us is the better transport connections. As well as having access to the Overground we now have access to the line that goes to Victoria/ Orpington- stopping at Bromley/ Beckenham/ Brixton which is great. And ED/ Peckham is only 15 mins by car which is nothing outside London.
  5. Hi Just wondering if anyone knows of any holiday play schemes that you can pay with using child care vouchers? Last year Fit4 Sport at Dulwich College accepted them but they lost the contract and the new provider isn't registered. Thanks,
  6. Try old palace in croydon- they have a minibus service that picks up from here.
  7. Try Aston Rose Essex Rd Islington

  10. I wouldn't worry too much. We moved to Sydenham after living in ED for 15 years and have spent just as much time in local restaurants as we did before! Remember to anyone outside London 2 or 3 miles is nothing especially once they start secondary school and go all over London (or outside).
  11. yes- there was another black car involved. i also think that it was as a result of a car going in the bus lane and the other car not seeing it as it turned.
  12. Hi How much does the court charge? I amthinking of doing this as I am owed ?60?
  13. Hi I would also recommend Melange. The lady who runs it is wonderful and will take her time to explain to you. She also runs a chocolate museum in Brixton. Also Rococo are based in West Dulwich. ------------------------------------------------------- > I went to Melange this afternoon, only to find > that sadly they had nothing in boxes, only > chocolate bars in cellophane bags, which was not > quite what I was after, nice though I'm sure they > are. > > They said that they did not do truffles after > Easter because nobody wanted them ?!?!?! but would > be starting them again in a week or so (too late > for me). > > Since time was getting short, I have ended up > with two middle-of-the-road boxes from > Sainsbury's, not what I was after at all, will > have to wrap them prettily and hope the recipients > don't notice they are Thorntons and Green & > Black's :(
  14. The Actress should be ok- but i would get there early.
  15. This is a great restaurant. We've been a couple of times and had great meals.
  16. The Robert Galbraith (J K Rowling) books are excellent! Just started the latest one and her/his knowledge of London is excellent. Feel sorry for the residents of Catford- that's all i will say!
  17. Would recommend King's! Very friendly coaches.
  18. Is this the same one as the one in Soho?
  19. How about here? https://www.brasseriezedel.com/
  20. yes would recommmend Goals in Beckenha. Once in a while you can get a deal on this through Groupon.
  21. This is part of the contract that GP surgeries have agreed with the government for this year. They do have registration forms on the front desk but as i have pointed out it is not straightforward! You can also have dual registration- that is you can now register at a practice near your place of work.
  22. All gp surgeries are now required to offer on line booking of appointments. From what i remember this practice's registration process is not straight forward; but you might as well persist as it will be easier to book an appointment this way then ringing in! If you have any concerns you should in the 1st instance raise them with the Practice Manager. If your complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction I would advise writing to the senior partner of the practice. If you are still unhappy you can of course contact Southwark CCG @ Tooley Street
