We have this one https://m.johnlewis.com/aeg-hk654200fb-induction-hob-black/p569577. Quite cheap but has been working well.
-
I really like our induction hob. Much easier to clean and I find it changes heat very quickly when turning it up/down. The only issue I have is that it split when husband dropped a jar of marmite on the edge of it :(. Still works though.

A P13 bus drove past me on Whately Rd at 5pm yesterday so think they should be back on track...

Is The Great Exhibition getting louder or what?
Mrs D replied to Beej's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I actually do think it is getting a bit louder too. I am close to the pub, like the refurb they did when taking over the pub. However it is a residential area - and quite quiet in the evening apart from the pub (so not a busy cross roads KK as it is during the day). Don't think the OP is suggesting a noise abatement order - just a bit of consideration from the pub landlord re music levels? -
I quite like the fish and chip from the place down by the old harvester / south circular. Think it's called two brothers?
-
My boys went there last summer and will go this summer again. They enjoyed it although they were quite young last summer so will probably enjoy it even more this summer when they are not the youngest. I like the staff and think the site is good - enough space to run around outside!

Thank you all!

If you know of a good one, please could you pass on the details? Thank you.

I have a smart meter. The monitor is now in the cupboard. And since I changed suppliers , they can't read the meter remotely. Completely pointless. The government are driving a project fitting meters that are not able to cope with supplier changes (the new ones will apparently) the supplies have loads of these old style meters to shift and targets set by government in terms of number of smart meters to be installed. They should have waited until tecnogy has caught up.

former East Dulwich councillor - how can I help?
Mrs D replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
James, there is another thread on here about the sorting office on sylvester rd potentially closing. Do you know if this is true or not? It would be a great loss to the area if it is. -
The post Office on forest hill road is good.

Simone ' s (mind over matter) boxing class time table
Mrs D replied to missse22's topic in What's on in East Dulwich
I just wanted to recommend Simone's (Mind over Matter) boxing classes. Super friendly atmosphere and you are guaranteed a good workout! And beginners are made to feel very welcome. I have been going for about a year and a half (Started as a beginner) and absolutely love it. There is mixed boxing, mummy boxing, women only boxing and PT - so pretty much something for everyone. -
We used outlook and very pleased with their work.
-
And don't forget to wrap up warm! Especially if there is snow.
-
Had a football kicked very hard straight into my face which could have been avoided by a barrier. My kids play football there and agree it would be a lot easier for everyone if the space was enclosed.

Mrs D replied to bodsier's topic in The Family Room Discussion
And I think many of them recommend to get the cover for it too. Don't have one myself but have contemplated buying one! -

Hi, I have been to Lily too, and was also very pleased with the result. She both coloured and cut by hair. Nice relaxed environment and Lily is very nice and friendly!
