  1. Kid free pubs
  2. Plenty of room for both, but the films shown at BPFC are generally poor imo.
  3. Yes, good basic foods and decent affordable prices. For years and years every Sunday many pensioners went to the WH for their Sunday dinner treat. You could see that for the majority of the elderly this was their one and onky trip out in public and contact with the outside world, social connection they had. They were welcomed at the WH and treated excellently. Since the blow in takeover this has all stopped. Utter utter shame and the nastiest hurtful side of gentrification. 4. Foxy, have you requested more alcohol free beer be available in the pubs you have mentioned? As I understand it these pubs will supply whatever 'craft' beers the beards ask for. As the prices for these drinks are in the same region it seems only fair that more/different types should be provided on request. Also, if Govt think alcohol is so damaging to health then maybe they should legislate and cap the max price of non alchy beer to prevent greedy pubs robbing month long non drinkers DulwichFox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well that's it... > > Both The EDT and The Bishop have run out of > Alcohol Free Beer. 9. Only live in Streatham!!! You are moving to ED!!! Hmmmm, let me think......why don't you either explore ED when you mive here, or visit ED before you move here and explore it. Win win. 11. So Admin, a new year a new start?
  12. Ok, Ok you knew what I meant, whatever the company is called. Greenking. Anyway, why try and takeover ED by repeating the same business model, buy, success, sell onto chain, and then lose indies? Why do it in ED? Why not elsewhere in london? Or is it about domination/control of ED? 13. Yes, it does. I suppose it is due to the relatively small geographical location and owing X businesses in that area rather than X businesses spresd across a much larger geographical area where the effect is lessened. 14. I believe so as I think they are running bishop at least. Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > He sold to IPA?
  15. To all the Barberettes - please keep on topic, this thread is about dhfc and alleged noise nuisance. Barber can be critiscised whether or not you like him. Maybe start a fanclub page in the lounge for your worship. This allegations made in this thread could have dire consequences for dhfc.
  16. Stop eating posh cheese on toast, save taps.
  17. As barber is active, only on subjects that suit his own ends, in comparisson to other local cllrs that dont post much on a local forum that is not representative of ED does not make him immune from accountability, transparency, critiscism or indeed being required to provide evidence of his 'facts'. This thread is about dhfc and alleged noise nuisance, not about your poloitical preferences. 18. Meat liquor is, at least, co owned by Scott, who had the castle in camberwell, bishop, actress etc who then sold to IPA before buying meatliquor. Scott is also the same bloke who flouted traffic/planning law constructing a basement swimmimg pool on crawthew grove, causing nuisance to neighbours and local traffic, where he sometimes lives. So again comes back to crap on local area, a small chain with big bucks buying out small independents on LL to sell onto big chains ruining LL for good.
  19. Tweet the leader of the council, peter john, @peterjohn6, about concerns of collusion between m&s and planning dept etc.
  20. There are far too many 'festivals' in London as it is, another is not needed. Dulwich Pk fest, plus fairs, goose green, brockwell pk, irish fest on rye, blackheath, victoria pk, belair, clapham, burgess pk, crystal palace. The list is endless. London is overloaded with festivals in parks, they need to be reduced and limited. Parks are for nature, relaxing, dog walking, a spot of sport etc not weekend after weekend of hours of loud amplified music ruining residents weekends, distressing wildlife, creating mountains of litter and disrupting traffic. The beards are happy to jump on the ginger line to east london to be seen at these events. Leave the rye alone.
  21. They were known as Mugways. If you want to use one there are some just down the road below the flyover. Ridgley Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I pass there last week have they got rid of the > subways , were you have to go underground to get > to the other side?
  22. Tis a shame. Seacow was better quality IMO than others in the locale. A traditiinal no frills type restaurant is needed still.
