However, all of these strangers are advising you to carry on risking your property which is a bit rich as they risk nothing. Carry on if you so choose as its a 'free' country but when you get mugged off again its probably best not to complain. -

Do you happen to have a large flat screen TV I could borrow for a couple of days? Also a smart phone, games consol, and a laptop? And btw, would you like to buy a set of encylopedias? -

Get rid of the eyesore I say. The 'artists' have had their stay. The site would be perfect for a secondary school.

Yes, kick the owner. Were you wearing shorts and a vest? Reminds me about the cat slayer - I heard that all the cats killed either had no collars, or had collars without a bell. I was further told that the killer could be some misguided and mentally confused bird lover hence the no collar no bell thing.

Unfortunately I didnt manage to visit any mosque due to previous plans/distance of participating mosques. However I would be very keen to visit the Northcross Rd mosque because it is the local ED mosque where muslim neighbours and business people go, and because it has been given lots of CGS money over the years for 'community' projects. Eileen, with your connections could you not ask/arrange for another open day specifically for Northcross Rd mosque, maybe on a Saturday so that we can all engage and get to know eachother?

Are women allowed in? Eileen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This year some 80 mosques and counting will be > participating in the Visit My Mosque day. This is > more than triple the number of mosques that took > part last year.

Agree. Such a shame the NorthX Rd one didnt feel it should join in, especially with all the CGS money it has received from DCC over the years.

Low Life in High Places by Thunder. Edited as so long ago I muddled title!

Dodgy, crooked, dangerous organisatiin from day 1. Glad its gone.

I agree with Lou. As far as I can see it is just rabble rousing and trying to encourage others to complain when there may not even be a problem. In fact the noise complaint could be false and ftom a disgruntled customer. What makes it all worse is that people register on here, or even re-register on here just to complain. Very suspicious.

Well the hyper gentrification Peter John and his Blairites together with the lib dems didnt give The Hope on Rye Lane a chance, nor The Bun House etc. Allowed the multi cultural working class pubs to be closed despite opposition and protest only to allow and encourage white middle class beard frequented pubs to open 5 minutes later. An absolute disgrace. And anyone that uses the words belenden village are indeed bell ends. Such a blowIn shock.

Jemima and Tarquin can just hop into Mummys landrover and head the five minutes up the road to the Lordship Lane shop. The deprived little darlings can buy their overpriced toys there and avoid broken hearts. Good luck.

It's so predictable that when Lou and Fox hit the nerves of the people on this forum that eat filter feeders that they havevto insult, attack and belittle and resort to name calling. 'Oh I had some wonderful (insert name of bivalve mollusc prefaced with some other perceived exclusive geographical name or type) for lunch'. Dont hear them saying that about a satisfying other food such as beans on toast. No, its all about the presumed exclusivity/high cost/class thing. Snot in an ashtray is quite right, along with posh cheese on toast. As for being popped at by wanka mankas best cudtomer is bizarre.

Oh look, the intellectual heavyweight has joined in again with his wrong perceptins straight from his working class dad hips. Where are the cries of dont report his whereabouts etc when op is even providing times he is there? Dont matter if this chap gets abused or bashed? Op walks past him everyday but this is first we hear? Does op give filthy down nose looks at chap? Exactly what does op do, we dont know but no one else seems to have a problem with this fellow. How do we even know anything happenend with op? It might be that op is one of the type that hate the homeless for cluttering up the street ala Rio. This is east dulwich, calm down dear, youre not in the village. A potentially ill, homeless person out in the cold being treated the exact opposite of another homeless person. Why? Doesnt look like you, speak like you, wrong accent, working class,? and so not worth your true genuine altruistic expression. I expect Laurel to pop in next Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This is the EDF at it's worst. Rubbish. If anything this man is more vulnerable and more in need of assistance from homeless chsraties, the so caring folf of ED actively looking out for him etc. Not slung in back of a meat wagon, given a kicking andcslung out again. Altruism? Bollocks. Self gratifying hypocritical cherry picking.

Whats your problem, the uncomfortable truth? Care to explain the difference?
