Kid went to Kingsdale school. Its never gone away.Without getting all class war, many of the more recent residents of SE22 & SE15 would not know what it is like in some areas- they have little cause to have any interaction there
  3. I hear the latest grand theft auto is centered around a fictional East Dulwich. Where nothing really happens except people abuse each other with childish names in drive by shoutings and message boards. Then bleat about a tree being damaged for the rest of the game.

  7. As a property magnate and philanthropist, I have concerns that my burgeoning beds-in-sheds-4U empire may suffer as a result of restrictions with migration. I also fear that the French cafes on the sparkling lordship lane being driven back to La Manche. And I do like a good brioche on the weekend.
  8. Dear Foxy, As much as I am unimpressed with the keyboard warrior abuse and virtual bullying you get on here, you do set yourself up for it sometimes. Luckily the money is from China and the Reactor is of French design rather than the other way round
  9. the earl of bedlam snaps remind of Sidney Charles of Deptford. long since passed on. Raja fashions may be getting a visit as a stopgap
  10. As I will be spending more time in the area, due to relocating my rather large BTL portfolio to take in more SE15 properties, I am on the lookout for a new tailor. I have previously used Threadneedleman on the Walworth road but mod suits are no longer my bag. Would prefer to keep it local, as I am a busy man with fingers in various pies and time is money Anyone have any recommendations for local mtm tailors?

  14. As offensive as this was, I would not read too much into the rantings of a nutter.
  15. I am sure the kids in gangs are not unduly interested about ABC'ers having a laugh at their shitty lives.
  16. I don't mean to sound like an A level sociology student, but tooling up the *totes* trustworthy filth is not going to resolve this problem in any way.

  18. Does anyone truly think that the carrying of a knife is a decision taken lightly? Whatever the preconceptions held about the users, a judgement is made by those who carry them as to benefits vs risks. Its a pretty serious situation when a potential custodial is deemed to be a the least worrysome outcome. I would warrant most on here cannot comprehend what it must be like to have to make this decision.
  19. despite the jovial hirsute craft beer bonhomie and sizzling artisanal fare on offer around the station, people still get stabbed in Peckham. Can we not move these awful people somewhere else ? if someone could get a 38 degrees petition going, I would gladly sign up signed D Duck

Mustard Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I wonder if the massive tree on Oglander Road, > which blocks the pavement, will stay there. is this is one that forces buggies onto the road to pass? We are not short of trees in the area. I have no idea what the cost is to the Council for insurance claims for these mammoth London Plane trees, but I am sure it is not a negligible amount.
