  1. Our usually very reliable British Gas thermostat receiver has died on literally the longest night of the year! Very bad timing. Can anyone recommend someone who might be able to fit a new thermostat & receiver in the next week? Thanks!
  2. Hi, Don't suppose anyone knows of any cleaners who can accommodate last minute (aka tomorrow!) requests? Please reply or PM me if so!
  3. Jon Smith is a superstar - got my very mucky first-floor flat windows perfectly clean and sparkling! He's quick, thorough, and a lovely guy, definitely recommend. https://www.jonsmithscleaningservices.co.uk/
  4. As above, really. Need to stop using the pandemic as an excuse and find my way back to something resembling a gentle jog! Always nice to have a motivation buddy (or several), especially given the attention you can get doing any kind of exercise alone in a public space! I?m just by Dulwich wood, which is great for a trail route, but can get to Dulwich Park pretty easily too. Would need to start slowwww, so was thinking maybe couch to 5k or some longer walks? I?m in my 30s, with a slightly dodgy ankle, and an ability to chatter about almost anything when not totally out of breath. PM if interested :) Bella
  5. Hi, Can anyone recommend a nice, affordable window cleaning company who could do a little 1st floor flat? My windows have got shockingly mucky over the winter and need a good scrub! Thanks, Mossy
  6. Hey, I'm pretty certain they still do, they sent two volunteers out to check on a stray cat with a limp that was around my house a year or so ago. Microchip machine might be transportable, and they definitely know how to spot a stray vs an owned cat looking for more food!
  7. If the cafe staff or someone visiting could call the Celia Hammond trust, they are always happy to come and visit and provide micro chipping scans/ neutering if necessary/ free veterinary treatment/ help rehoming if needed. Lovely people doing very good work. http://www.celiahammond.org/index.php/contact-us
  8. I'm in the market for a nice new bed, and was wondering if there are any local shops that might be more convenient for this than the big commercial places in London? Not fussy about whether it's new or antique, but would be lovely to be able to have a nice wander around this weekend and see what's about. Thanks, Bella
