  1. What dimensions are they please? the URL goes to the general page. Thanks
  2. We had Dave / David Culver do this for us a few years ago, they do loads of tiled paths around this area. i'm still really pleased with it several years on and i think i found him on the EDF. Links to some work: https://www.instagram.com/culverlandscaping
  3. This screenshot taken from LFB website suggests dodgy reporting by SN...
  4. https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/dulwich/police-investigation-launched-after-fire-rips-through-dulwich-flat/
  5. Hoardings and scaffolding have gone up here in the last couple of days but checked the council website and I don't think there are any new planning applications for it. Does anyone know what it might be turning into? I found a listing for it on Savills from last year and looks like it needs some TLC! In case anyone else is interested: https://auctions.savills.co.uk/auctions/23-july-2024-153/2-woodwarde-road-and-364-366-lordship-lane-east-dulwich-london-se22-8lz-11830
  6. I bought some a little while ago from Horniman Market from these guys, it was really good: https://www.brockleybees.com/
  7. With monzo card please share the name to confirm ownership Returned to owner
  8. Still on diversion as of 6.45pm. And 3x Conway vehicles parked up by all the roadworks signs at the top of Barry too.
  9. I used a guy called Fahren from Pentland Building a few weeks ago to remove some garden rubble - it was stuff the council wouldn't take but he came the next day (!) and was pretty good value. His number is 07908679340
  10. I've just had Ben in to do a small electrical job in my house, he was punctual, really nice and also tidy! Delighted to have found him tbh, so thought I would share. His number is 07737985595.
  11. Found today on Melbourne road, will take into a branch of the bank if not claimed
  12. Have you been in touch with the police? Mine was stolen from the plough just before Christmas and they've actually done quite a lot to investigate it
  13. Yes they have great CCTV, and she's on CCTV in the pub. But police won't investigate the fraud of using the card unless my bank report it. Hopefully they will. Assumed she would take the cards and dump the purse so was hoping it would be lying around Dulwich library/top of Barry road somewhere
  14. I had my purse stolen from my bag in the Plough last night. Done the usual thing of cancelling all cards, although she had already spent ?40 in costcutter with contactless. If you live in this area, please keep an eye out for a turquoise purse with various loyalty cards with my name on them - A Thompson. Would really appreciate it!!
  15. Sod's law that I make the last 2 nights two hours 35-45mins then Thank you for highlighting that though
  16. We are also on CPR and on a hat trick of power cuts. Running out of candles :( Totally agree, does happen (even if before September 2015 we had only had 6 in 20 years) but three nights in a row needs sorting. Can anyone see any water board people working? The September power cut was because of the north cross road water works
  17. Just walked past the Horniman from the wood vale bus stop down to FH station and as mentioned all buses and cars along there have been diverted but it is still open to pedestrians. Looks like a lorry, coming from the FH direction has tried to turn left into the tiny road alongside the triangle park opposite the Horniman. Didn't appear to be any damage on the side of the lorry but I could see but a body was lying on the ground, covered by a red ambulance blanket, with no one working on them, so I assume it's fatal, how awful :(
  18. Left Waterloo around 4.20 and got home a while ago, lots of buses still running - just like normal. Lots and lots of police in Elephant and Castle (at least 30, plus 5 vans) so they are definitely doing a good show of being visible etc. Almost all shops closed, boarded up if they don't have metal shutters/were already broken into.
  19. I wasn't there when anything happened but I walked past and there was a grey car with a large dent on the bonnet, that was about 9.45 - they were just removing the police tape.
  20. Sydenham High closed at 12.30pm, DC around the same sort of time
  21. Lots of Kingsdale kids get off the 363 at the Dome Hill Park stop in the morning, they cross the road and walk down the private road opposite the stop (I think called Rock Hill). I didn't know it was possible to get through there but it must be as so many people do it.
  22. It's still closed this evening? (I saw an ambulance there this morning about 8am)
  23. Hi, I had a couple of friends who did foundation GCSEs, and if they achieved Cs they were offered the chance of resitting a higher exam in Jan. That's another possible route to discuss with the school?
  24. The boy was awake when I happened to be there (at like 6), the paramedic was talking to him and she was writing stuff down and the police were trying to get in touch with his parents. But when the fullsize ambulance turned up they got a spinal board out :( It must've been terrifying for him - surrounded by paramedics, police and various concerned-looking bystanders. There was a lot of traffic due to people slowing down and having a look (at the ambulance car, ambulance, police van and police car), I really hope he's okay, he looked really scared :(
