Totally agree - I read this book a few weeks in when I was feeling pretty bleak about the whole motherhood thing and it did me so much good. Just totally spoke to how I was feeling then and made sense of what seemed like such a difficult time. Highly recommend it.

Kate - we just got back from Leapers which was free and great. Think it's closing for summer hols now, but open again beginning of Sept. Also Dulwich library is nice on a Weds at 11am and apparently the community greenhouse in Brockwell Park does a baby/toddler session on Thursdays at 2pm which I'm going to give a go.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a pick and delivery laundry service in the area (not for nappies, for clothes etc). We're having our kitchen extended, the washing machine is out of action and I can't bear the thought of getting baby, pram and laudry to a laundrette! Any recommendations would be gratefully received. Thanks, LeilahB
