I think BT may well be offering Fibre to home at some point Infinity 2? My biggest beef with standard broadband is that speed depends so much on the phone line from your house to the pole. Of cource BT never admit that the line from my house is crap (yet everybody else I know it my street has no problem)

People parking on the tiny bit of raised pavement between ours and the neighbours drive (we both have lowered curbs) only about 1/2 a car lenth would fit (i.e. a smart) without blocking us. But it seems to be a magnet on our street, and the abuse you get when you ask them if they could not part there. We actually use our drive and the bit in front for our cars so as not to take up parking elsewhere on the street. Oh yes and the thugs that live across the street. Three generations (all able bodied) who don't/won't work living scot free causing no end of trouble.

I could never fault her behaviour. It it said that one should never leave a dog alone with a small child, she was the exception. Even when my son (2 at the time) decided to cut her hair and snipped her hear, she just sat there with a look of "what did I do?". She never snapped once in her 7 years of life and loved meeting other dogs of all shapes and sizes with no trouble what so ever. I'm convinced she thought she was a cat!

We used to have a beagle who sadly passed away last year due to an enlarged heart. Now one thing we never did was let her off the lead as we were repeatadly warned by the breader that they would bolt as soon as they caught a scent of any animal. Now I don't know if not letting her off the lead could have contributed to her heart condition, but she was always a frail little girl. Anyway. We may consider another kind of scent hound in the future as they have a great nature and are great with kids. Is it possible to train them to be off the lead in a park and get them to respond (our beagle certainly never listened to us as her entire world was in her nose), we couldn't even get her to sit. Any tips?

Did we not do the same when we where young teenagers. The last thing we wanted to do was hang around at home. Teenagers are just loud and hate authority. Even if they are nice kids who are not causing trouble, they are loud and there arn't that many places they can go to be out of noises way in London. Talk to them nicely (maybe with another neighbour hidden way somewhere in case they are the undesirable type, who can call the police at short notice)

It might be a busy junction but there are far busier junctions around with less space that work well enough. A bit of traffic light re-phasing and a turn right filter arrow is all that is needed. Failing that a roundabout would fix the problem, obviously at a higher cost.

I suggest you take down the reg number and report to the police. A few years ago we had an ice cream van doing just the same, always stopping outside the same house where there were known trouble makers. And yes he was selling drugs.

Isn't the history of Dulwich founded on Education and schools! It's probably one of the main reason for rise in the local economy, i.e. people moving to the area with enough money to send their kids to the schools concerned. It really gets on my goat when people complain about schools and the impact they have on a local community. It is often a school that defines the community. They have most likely been around longer than any local resident. And we need schools. They represent the future of our country and we should do everything we can to encourage them. OK we get yummy mummies in their stupid Chelsea tractors who often don't give a f*** about other drivers on the road. But the council does not help by sticking in double yellows around the schools, pushing those who have to drive around in circles trying to find a spot on a residential street (although I have an inkling it is actually an income generator rather than traffic calming measure).

Lots of things to consider (we had one built 8 years ago but ended up having to be taken down). You may find your waste pipes are in the way, so you either have to re-route these or make sure the builder knows how to build around them. Do you have a combi boiler? Is the exhaust where you want your lean-to built. In which case you will have to get the exhaust/boiler moved. Heat. Our lean-to got so hot the wood dried out very quickly and started cracking (was in full sun for most of the day) Unfortunatly we had a dodgy builder (story of our lives) and he did not go through the necessary planning permission.

Yes I am in fact. So there is interest from a drummer, another guitarist who can play bass. Just need a singist ;o)
