We used Gerry recently for a plumbing job. I saw him recommended on the forum. We needed all of our pipework behind our washing machine, dishwasher and sink tidied up as they were all sticking out too much, making our washer/dishwasher stick out 2.5 inches further than the counter. We also wanted to put in an outdoor tap. Gerry was very thorough in trying to find the best solution. He is very professional, efficient, punctual and reasonably priced. He is also a really nice guy. I couldn't recommend Anne highly enough for the job she did with our Roman Blinds. I had taken them down as I was painting the sitting room and because a couple of them weren't hanging correctly. Anne, took them all away, including the brackets to make sure the problem wasn't just a nest in the brackets. She did such a thorough job, bless her. I really couldn't recommend her enough for repairs. If I were to get Roman Blinds for another room I would definitely use her again to make them from scratch as she is a real perfectionist. If anyone is looking for a dog walker, we have the most amazing couple that walk our dog. The reason I?m posting this here is because my work arrangements are changing and I?m going from 4 to 1 walks a week. They are so reliable. They come between 10:30 and 11:30 and drop back between 2:30 and 4:30 depending on the day. They also do sleepovers. They?ve just had our dog for three weeks and took her on their holiday down to a farm. They are very reasonable and lovely people to deal with. And most importantly, they love our dog like she?s their own. If you are interested please get in touch so I can give you their details.

My name is Marianne Boutall and I am a specialist maths teacher. I have been a Primary school teacher since 2001 but have been working as a Numbers Count teacher since 2009. Numbers Count is an intensive intervention for learners in Y1 to Y8 who have the greatest difficulties with mathematics. The programme is delivered by a specially trained teacher who also supports other teaching staff in schools. I work with children with major gaps and misconceptions in maths. Many of the children I work with have dyscalculic traits. Dyscalculia is a specific learning difficulty and is the inability to understand simple number concepts and master basic numeracy skills. Difficulties with numeracy and maths are also common with Dyslexia. As a Numbers Count teacher my role also involves the following; - delivering training to teachers/TAs/HLTAs/SENCOs/Senior Leadership in schools across Southwark and Lambeth - producing and editing policies for schools - delivering parent workshops - supporting maths planning teams In February 2018, I am doing a postgraduate in Dyscalculia and I am currently doing a Level 4 course in developing Numeracy skills in learners with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. I am available to tutor children from Y1 to Y6.
