  1. Celtic confirm Freddie signing just in time for old firm game .
  2. It's called being French declan .
  3. You should probably be glad Liverpool have dropped points - its not clear who might be in the relegation mix at the end of the season. ;-)
  4. What on earth was Wenger doing tonight with 8 changes? Happy to give back 2 of the hard earned points he won against Chelsea. Arsenal fans must be furious.

Leaving your child alone is ill advised in most cases, but it does not justify or deserve your child being taken from you. Because there are people out there who are a danger to children should not result in us feeling our children should never be out of our sight, which only makes for paranoid parenting and a closeted upbringing for the child. The fault in this case lies wholly with the person who took madeline. [i have not read this thread but this particular post caught my eye]

If you have flu surely there is little that can be done other than for it to run its course with decent painkillers to help you through?

Looking at the > Premiership at the moment it's possible that any > one of five teams could win it. I have to say that Spurs have been one of the bright lights this season. While some of the top teams might have lost a bit of quality, Spurs have stepped up and for the neutral they been many people's favourite team to watch.
  8. Celtic back to winning ways but had to wait for added time to score both the goals. A good end to a frustrating afternoon for them.
  9. Hussey has gone to Anderson. England on fire and take a big step.
  10. There is a one in the year. We know what that means .

  19. I think I have to agree there to some extent - the food is ok but basic. It would be great to have a good Italian.

Its only if someone is either a failure (O'Leary) or a qualifed success (Rafa) that you need to look at his sigings and do a cost/benefit comparison. Fergie stands apart.

Nurofen Cold and Flu is the only thing strong enough - had to take 3 of these at a time just to get to work and felt I was not really in this world - It was flu and I had to take one day off in the middle when I slept for almost 24 hours continually. Lasted 6 days in total from sneezing and shivering to painful chest cough. Worst ever. People who say that flu means you cannot get out of bed may be right .... but with the strongest Nuerofen you should be able to if you absolutley have to, which I did have to.

  23. Guido is four hours into lunch but word is going round that Cable might not be long for this world. Politically that is. He?s in a meeting with Clegg? UPDATE: Mr Cable has just walked into Downing Street. Looking as miserable as ever. UPDATE II: Last tango in Whitehall. Seems Cable held the rose in his lip and bit too deeply. UPDATE III: Corks popping in Tory circles. UPDATE IV: Seems the nuclear option bombed? UPDATE V: Grovelling apology at the eleventh hour? It?s chaos? Guido is hearing twenty different rumours, either way Cable is deeply wounded. BBC says he won?t be waltzing away?

    The Pogues

Maybe he is gradually getting his life back on track. Interesting that he won a literary schoarship into Westminster School, so there is some educational foundation to the musical "genius" tag that he sometimes has attributed to him.
