With former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen arriving on loan from Monaco on Thursday, the Ireland captain?s club future is increasingly uncertain and the Daily Mail reports today that he has been offered to both Spurs? London rivals West Ham United and Old Firm giants Celtic. Both West Ham and Celtic are in the market for another striker before Monday?s transfer deadline but Keane?s salary at White Hart Lane is expected to be a major obstacle to any proposed move. It is increasingly likely, then, that Keane may be allowed to leave on loan, with Spurs compelled to pay a large part of his wages for the duration of any deal.
