  1. still, thought my joke was funnier. But there you go, irony does not always hit the target. Sometimes needs a helping hand.
  2. It was a joke declan. What point did i miss?
  3. You are allowed to handle the ball in rugby declan.
  4. we are too cc.
  5. You might get a "Hmm" from Jah in response to that Declan. He uses it very sparingly, but its a polite way of saying he's miffed.
  6. I'm glad you separated out Tandoori Nights, Mr Ben. Was about to jump on the case to defend them as being better. But I guess Curry Club members are best placed to review all.
  7. Always happy to help clarify these matters CC. [see your jpg skills are not limited to photos, you do graphs too...! you must have the highest attachment:post ratio on the forum. A picture is worth a thousand words.]
  8. I think he's irked with me SF - no change there.

So enough > now please. I think you are missing the point Atila. The football world agreed that Thierry Henry had cheated Ireland out of a fair chance to qualify for the World Cup. The score in the match at the time is irrelevant. The referee did not see this, but the world did. The system needs to be rectified for the future (before it happens to England again maybe). This is very different from a dubious penalty decision. Roy Keane is also missing the point. What I'm agreeing with Roy Keane on is the "cap in hand" begging of the FAI. Which is embarrasing.

I'm along the same lines - with Strathisla being my current favourite malt (but any damn whisky will do if I'm stuck). Have never experienced Chateau Margaux and I'm afraid it is never likely to happen. I'd replace rum with brandy, on Jah's list, for after dinner purposes, of course.
  11. And the Germans have just appealed against the 1966 result on the basis of the ball not being over the line. They have about as much chance of success. I'm beginning to side with Roy Keane on the FAI. All this; please, its not fair, stuff is pathetic.
  12. I have never understood that one either. Its your choice. You can give them back, but in most cases you have to give them back. :)
  13. 1. 'Driving Home For Christmas' - Chris Rea I like that one. How about "Santa Claus is coming to town" --- The Boss.
  14. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hmm... I saw what you did there Mac. Very funny. > Who are you supporting this week? Ooooh, you are so sensitive Jah. I actually did not mean it that way, but as I typed it I did think someone might read that into it. I quite like Spurs and I like Harry too, so I hope you do well.
  15. im a father of 2 and i too keep losing friends with children to the home counties. Usually school related. So even with children you still lose your friends as they choose to move elsewhere.
  16. I think there is little value in bringing up problems with the church from the past. These priests are a current issue and that is the reason for the thread rather than general catholic church bashing.
  17. You are being insensitive now DM.
  18. Really jah? I mean they have now lost 4 times already so it cant be that unusual. I was impressed with spurs dominating villa away from home so they may beat villa to a top 6 place.

  20. Its very nice - yes.
  21. SeanMacGabhann Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think Song is developing nicely as a possible > Vieira > I agree with that completely. I don't think midfield possession is a problem for Arsenal. They are absolutley dominatant in possession terms against almost any team, however they lack firepower upfront and van persie is not the best striker in the premiership but he may be the most missed striker in the premiership. The possession all too often comes to nothing, their ideal is to put passes through the centre of defence, but with a defence as good as Chelsea, chances will be few and far between. On the contrary I think Chelsea's inability to control the game in possession terms may show there is hope for the chasing teams, but I'm afraid they do take their chances better then most and thats what counts at the end of the day. Its very much Chelsea's to lose.
