The score in the match at the time is irrelevant. The referee did not see this, but the world did. The system needs to be rectified for the future (before it happens to England again maybe). This is very different from a dubious penalty decision. Roy Keane is also missing the point. What I'm agreeing with Roy Keane on is the "cap in hand" begging of the FAI. Which is embarrasing.

im a father of 2 and i too keep losing friends with children to the home counties. Usually school related. So even with children you still lose your friends as they choose to move elsewhere.

I think there is little value in bringing up problems with the church from the past. These priests are a current issue and that is the reason for the thread rather than general catholic church bashing.
