  1. I've just put a recommendation for exactly this, Dan is the man I use for all my curtain clients. He will do an excellent job.
  2. Our glorious leaders failed to prepare for what was very obviously coming our way. They had other countries to learn from but they did nothing. There are still flights arriving here with no checks. Very little testing. Small companies in the UK trying to sell PPE to our government but being ignored...
  3. Thankyou all. I have been so frustrated and angry with our Government for letting us down. There is so much data on this virus they could have been gathering that is lost (and they know how to collect data!) I am 99.9% sure that I and most of my extended family have had it because we got it from Grandpa who was hospitalised and therefore tested and sadly died. 4 of us had it very seriously but luckily no real cough and avoided hospital but only just. Of the other 6 infected, 4 had very mild symptoms and 2 had no symptoms. It is interesting stuff, but no testing in the community means we are all terrified. I suspect the number of people who have had it in london is really high and a lot of those have it mildly or no symptoms. We have, and still are being let down by our glorious leaders. I am hoping to be able to donate blood plasma to help a new study, when I'm feeling back to normal which is taking a bit of time.
  4. I keep reading scientists saying that they don't know if you are immune after having Covid19. Now, I'm just wondering, if you don't have some immunity after it, how will a vaccine work? Hopefully someone with proper knowledge can explain it to me. I've had it and it was brutal.
  5. Thanks for all your work. I have seen various messages, emails from alleged hospital etc, it would be great if someone was able to verify them? Obs not you, you have enough on I should imagine. I saw one supposedly from st George's hospital and although mostly probably fine advice the list of symptoms is mis leading. Thanks and well done x
  6. Sounds really good. Maybe try copying it to The General section, the businesses section, What's on section and family room (seeing as you do kids classes) I'm sure those will cover peoples searching. The best of luck !
  7. Hi Jessica That is a lovely idea and I'd be more than happy to help. Maybe it would be a nice thing to do together? Bring them along to my studio and we'll have a look at the best way to do it. I've made a few quilts from the clothes left by family and it's a lovely way to remember them. My number 07894438163, Sue

  11. I run the Art Club for Adults. Its a great way to meet like minded people in a relaxed environment, have a laugh, enjoy a drink and get in touch with your creative side (everybody has one !) Its NOT an art lesson (but I am an artist.) I've been thinking for a long time that it would be the perfect place to meet people or get to know someone better...not speed dating but speed creating ? So, if I get enough interest from single people, I will run a special dating evening. If anyone has any ideas on how to promote this I'd be grateful for feedback. Art Club is run at The Art Deli, 16 Coldharbour Lane, Camberwell, SE5 9PR, (great bus links) it is ?15 which includes your first glass of wine or beer. If you'd like to come along, the next Art Club is Thursday 9th November from 7.30 pm. We will be making Paper Flowers and Origami and there's always plenty of other options...
  12. The last Art Club before the summer holidays is back on 20th july at The Art Deli, 16 Coldharbour Lane, from 7.30 onwards. Come and meet new friends,in a relaxed atmosphere. Have a glass (or two) of lovely wine and find your happy place. ?15, covers all materials, gentle guidance if needed and first glass of wine. We may be painting decorative initials, marvellous Mandalas, or making fabulous felt jewellry , folding Origami flying cranes to make colourful mobiles or we could do something completely different, the choice is yours ! Look forward to seeing you.
  13. I make curtains proffessionaly and use Merrick and Day for bay window curtain poles.
