We had new carpets and vinyl flooring in the bathroom fitted on our 3 bedroom hourse by Dave last week and he did a superb job at a really reasonable price! There was lots of heavy furniture to lift, which we had promised would be gone, but Dave was fine about it and didn't charge us extra. The finish of the stairs is excellent and we managed to get rid of an unsightly bar that John Lewis had fitted with the previous carpets. Really skilled and professional and so quick. I highly recommend 'Adam's place' at 69 Ravensdale Gardens, Upper Norwood SE19 3QE tel 07956 596 962 for great styling, colour, high/low lighting, and perms / relaxing. He runs a professional salon from home where you get one to one attention and pampering in private (no more embarrassment of other people and passers by seeing you with curlers / foil all over your head!). Adam has over 20 years experience in top salons such as 'Partridges' but his prices are so much less than a high street salon (my cut and colour cost ?90 yesterday). Adam even gave me a free blow drying lesson so I can re-create his no frizz, flawless finish! What a star!

Mark Newlove managed to clear the air lock on our heated towel radiators by fitting a valve on the megaflow - getting the hot water up to 3 bathrooms has been a challenge! I highly recommend Mark - he really is an expert on heating and hot water systems! Mobile 07971 824567

My elderly mother got locked out of her house in East Dulwich a month ago and a rogue locksmith from Yellow pages charged her over ?300 to drill badly through the locks and give her the cheapest, poorest quality replacements you could find! Callow Master Locksmiths then came out and replaced all the locks properly for just ?100 (they have an emergency service too). On Thursday my mother was locked out again but at least a neighbour called Callow Master Locksmiths. Before they broke into the house they retraced her steps to Goose Green and found her keys! I'm so grateful to them and they refused to charge her! Mark Newlove replaced my old boiler today with a Vaillant Ecotec plus 630 system boiler, new flume and a NEST programmable thermostat. He was fast, efficient, neat and tidy, very knowledgeable and gave us the best quote for the work. He was very thorough and flushed through the system first and checked all the radiators were working afterwards. He showed us how to set up NEST on my phone so I can control the heating anywhere, anytime. The new boiler is so quiet in comparison to our old boiler! Our Megaflow had never been serviced and now the water rate is far more powerful. I've cancelled the British Gas contract because Mark will do the annual service at far less cost!
