Hi, Just found a very large tomcat yowling outside our house on Silvester road. Amiable, tries to make himself at home but not keen on being picked up. He has a couple of nicks out of his left ear. Sorry to say one of the neighbours came knocking looking for his owner on the bank holiday weekend. We went to check it wasn't one of ours and ended up bringing him home as they weren't used to cats and weren't sure what to do. Unfortunately he had a hurt back and died whilst we were trying to find an out of hours emergency vet. He was being cuddled and stroked when he died and was calm and peaceful. Have tried further knocking around the local houses as he was often seen in the gardens between Heber road/Landcroft Road/Pellatt Road but no joy finding his owners.
