Large Long Hair Grey Tabby Cat - Sadly deceased, often seen Heber road/Landcroft Road/Pellatt Road

Sorry to say one of the neighbours came knocking looking for his owner on the bank holiday weekend. We went to check it wasn't one of ours and ended up bringing him home as they weren't used to cats and weren't sure what to do. Unfortunately he had a hurt back and died whilst we were trying to find an out of hours emergency vet. He was being cuddled and stroked when he died and was calm and peaceful.

Have tried further knocking around the local houses as he was often seen in the gardens between Heber road/Landcroft Road/Pellatt Road but no joy finding his owners.

If you know whose he was or he was yours please get in touch.

Thanks,

Duncan

    • What is opening next to the EDT where there was a clothes shop before iirc? Saw a license application in the window on the way past today.
    • Is it disproportionate?  Focusing on bad cycling may make cyclists take a less aggressive stance on the road, which in turn may make them more cautious at crossings and red lights which could result in less accidents involving cyclists. Equally, their change in attitude may be picked up by motorists who will start to respect them more resulting in better tolerance,  maybe less accidents and ultimately everyone benefits. Small changes can make a big difference 😁
    • We've been hosting a Ukrainian mother and her daughter in our spare flat for two years and they're very soon moving out to a larger rented flat in Gypsy Hill - except it's totally empty (!)...... If anyone has any free furniture, crockery (plates, bowls), pots/pans and beds they want to get rid of, please get in touch! Keith
    • Thanks for posting, yes this disproportionate focus on cyclists is not helpful. There are much better things that government can do to reduce the number of all road users killed and seriously injured.
