  1. Do you have particular fondness/penchant for a specific cause helenblack? I'd start there and see what is convenient for you
  2. I've downloaded this recently and it's so easy to use! The film club on here could maybe give it a go and see if it makes life easier. I go to the cinema quite often, sometimes alone (which is fine) but it makes it super easy to find like minded souls to enjoy the films I do!
  3. Wonder what the cinema is doing with that space?
  4. I once had an after hours do at the pottery painting caf? East Dulwich Road. www.punkmeup.co.uk We were allowed to bring wine and order pizza too!
  5. I agree the food and coffee are nice ( and authentic) but I think it used to be Mon P'tit Choux caf? which was very popular so naturally it's taken a while to build up again.
  6. There's no mentioning of the dog on dog violence which has been seen on these pages too, I put that in the comments section at the end
  7. Thanks both!
  8. The fabulous Overground won't be running Monday, any suggestions for getting to Dalston from ED please?
  9. I'm hoping for an update to this-hopefully with the news that someone's been picked up for environmental crime!

What's the issue, why do they need 'control'? They are living in your garden (lucky you) and doing more good than harm
  11. School holidays tend to mean masses of donations and regular volunteers off because of the break, I would suspect it's that.
  12. I don't know if our group may suit? Meet 10am every Saturday outside the Rye caf? in the park. We are a varied bunch, some run, some power walk. We stop every 3-400 metres to do resistance exercises so the stop/start might bother you. PM if you want more details, it's all led by us and a coffee at the end encourages bonding...

  15. Have this on in the background a lot with regular programmes getting my attention but the other day I caught what seemed to be a drama about a patient of Freud's and the bit I caught was a dream analysis session-fascinating but can't find it now on catch up to A/ catch up and B/ send the link to a mate!
  16. There's a sign on the lovely Horniman field of crocus etc but still I see kids running all over it and parents/carers not even watching in their direction. loni Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think I may approach the park keepers office > with a view to getting some posters put up on the > main gates and by the displays letting parents and > others know it is not appropriate to pick or walk > amongst the flower displays, they are there for > such a short time. 17. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead?
  18. I was once walking in Bermondsey towards my volunteer job of distributing donated food to various places (FareShare) and saw a guy pee in the bushes of a church! 10 minutes later he turns up-he's a new volunteer ;-(
  19. Next to Somerset House is an Indian hotel that you can walk in as a non resident and have good food.
  20. Me too but they're always empty!
  21. Tried listing them on Amazon? Or if the course is still running and the books are relevant, ask OU if you can pass them on to a new student? You're right about the charity shop ;-)
  22. There will be one in the Local Studies library, surely? John Harvard Library, Borough High St
  23. A few days ago I warned the new person in my life that I categorically don't do V day, commercialism gone mad. Much prefer impromptu shows of affection. We met up (unplanned) and had a lovely afternoon wandering around old Southwark and parted company early evening.
  24. They have a Facebook page updated regularly
