  1. Was it really late? I was wondering why I shot wide awake with a racing heart for no apparent reason! Thought maybe the sonic boom.. 2. There was a thread on this already. Sad news
  3. I'd suggest you avoid the crowds and buy from a small/indy business. Opposite Gail's is Romeo Jones, super place. Always felt safe using them and they are always masked up. 5. Anyone know any picture framers operating a drop off/collect please?
  6. We didn't tip as such (pre covid) but the woman who was the first port of call, who took the details and worked on having everything we wanted got a bunch of flowers a few weeks afterwards.
  7. Thanks, this is reassuring. It's hard (not just for me) to suddenly lower the defence mechanisms that have been drummed into us on a daily basis. I'm hearing friends say the same. binkylilyput Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's everyone's choice whether to go outside or > not but (and I have posted it before) I found this > article reassuring. > > https://www.bbc.com/news/explainers-55680305 > > We are now conditioned into feeling anxious by the > presence of other people and it will take a while > for that to change
  8. I've also been obsessed with Shtisel on Netflix, never in a million years would I have thought that a family drama set amongst orthodox Jews in Israel would enthral me so. 3rd series eagerly awaited!
  9. New series of Unforgotten on ITV (available on catch up)is a firm favourite, this is series four, if you've never seen it, Netflix has 1-3 to watch and give yourself a treat!
  10. Couldn't agree more admin! I really like to see all the people on here reporting various side effects/none and it makes me slightly optimistic about the future, finally...

  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000s7lr This is a link to the BBC radio4 programme More or Less, it specifically looks at the way Covid deaths are recorded compared to our European neighbours and is an interesting listen.

  18. > believe what they are fed on the TV without doing some checks for themselves A favourite line from my now ex lodger. Depressingly enough, his main source of alterative info was Youtube. Fair enough, like I said to him, it's not as if they let just anyone on there...oh...
  19. I love this area for the hills, and keeping my beloved city in view during lockdown. I discovered the golf club view by accident, now I get there regularly. Waiting for the mud to clear from Sydenham woods and I can discover a different way home.
  20. 21. I miss this place and the staff, during the other lockdowns they were offering a takeaway service at the door, does anyone know if he's ok, or planning to resume when things open up again? Thanks
  22. Out of interest, did everyone get a follow up date when vaccinated? I haven't yet, but some have
  23. Also, is this the right time to pollard trees? Spring, nesting season soon

I'd recommend you give 119 or your surgery a ring and offer to take up a last minute appointment (if you are able) because it seems unfair that I'm offered, as a non carer, and you are not!
