I know that feeling too! I hope you don't mind, I've pm'ed you as well - I am due on Monday, so may or may not be able to make it. Would love to meet up though, so am sure we can sort something out. Overwhelmed doesn't come close and congratulations on the new house - there seems to be a lot around for mums here so I'm sure we'll enjoy it

Hi, At the risk of hijacking the spring babies thread ( I think their's is a regular meet though so hopefully not) do you fancy meeting up tomorrow (Friday 5th march) at about 1pm, maybe for tea and cake at one of the cares on lordship lane? I would have suggested a park, but its only April, maybe we should hide from the snow ;)

I'll let you know, I'm due on 8th so fingers crossed will be there shortly (though hopefully not for too long though!) but I have heard good things about it, and at least you know that the midwives have the experience. She says confidently......

I agree with PGC. Predictably. But I also want a house with land (possibly Surrey?), turnout, hacking, and to be able to afford not to work. I know, it's not much to ask!

Karrie - thanks, that's a big help. Sometimes I lose patience, I know I shouldn't, but my friend is a bit prone to depression and I can't seem to get her out of it, as I'm a bit short on practical advice. So any tips are appreciated.

A friend of mine has it. I'm afraid I'm not too much help - I've tried to think of a job she'd be good at, but I can't. She manages, but everything takes her longer than anybody else. And she does things like forget she has a cat. ontheedge - your post sounds exactly like her, any tips you have would be appreciated!

You two definitely don't need a bookies! I can just imagine it....
