  1. Loving this: http://www.economist.com/world/unitedstates/displayStory.cfm?story_id=14112480&source=features_box_main
  2. Having thought about this, I'm not sure a vocalist does this to me regularly, more a good vocalist with a good song. Then again, I do like the sound of Joane Newsome/Regina Spektor/Tori Amos, and of course Kate Bush. Bat for lashes bats my lashes.
  3. Mary-Kate "MayKay" Geraghty! Coz we all love the oirish.
  4. Talking of apps, anybody else got some they can reccomend? I'm currenlty shooting rag dolls, which is much more fun than I thought it would be.
  5. WICKET! Johnson 63 b Swann 105th over: Australia 404 (Hilfenhaus 3) We've only bloody won!
  6. he's got his five! Go freddie (bowled Siddle)!! (keef, I take it all back).
  7. and then happy again - Clarke b Swann!
  8. 179 more runs. Gawd.
  9. better than last nights session, and a wicket already! For Sherwick's benefit Hadden cCollingwood, bFreddie!
  10. Good work! That's more of an effort than I've ever made, but whne I get my own transport.... (hope the missus isn't reading!). I'd have liked to have gone to the Ajax game, should be good fun hope the edlest enjoys it. You've got me thinking now - who are we playing in Lonodn?! Milwall, Charlton, then I'm stumpped!
  11. I might try for some London ones, would like to get down to St Marys but the train tickets put me off. Am hoping we might end up somewhere other than bottom of the table this term, so should be more fun (given the lack of a manager and the -10 points I'm not going for promotion). Otherwise I'll be in the cpt! How about you?
  12. poor sod! Mind you, we've not done badly out of selling them duds at inflated prices :)
  13. innocent! Honest. Don't want to see the hammers go down, but couldn't think of another team!
  14. I thought he got a duck in one of the warm up games, but he's not doing badly according to the stats - http://www.ecb.co.uk/stats/averages/competition-avg.html?PcompetitionAverage=com.othermedia.ecb.stats.CompetitionAverage-L-46 Which reminds me, I'm still not really sure why England have never picked Pothas, good with a bat *and* behind the stumps. I reckon we should be looking at a minimum of 350.
  15. Best not to mention Pompey given who I support! (But agree). Who does Jah support? Got to be a London team. Odds on going down. West Ham?
  16. tend to agree with you there. Who would you have in his place (or have we covered that - Key)?
  17. pop goes bopara - 18 lbw.
  18. I've closed the tab now. bum. hang-on. 25 July. Sure I could help you out keef.
  19. I'd be up for the Friends Provident Trophy if anybody wants to go (and support Hants). ?35.
  20. ah. I may work from 'home' tomorrow :)
  21. you shouold at least put tms on man, will keep you entertained. Ow, poor Hauritz, not nice. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/bbc_radio_five_live_sports_extra Hang on, aren't you snowed under with deadlines from last week?
  22. it's not bloody cricket.
  23. Hey, you can't use facial hair to win the argument, that's just not fair! Anybody listened to duckworth lewis yet? Any good?
  24. a class act. I''ve no idea, when did he stopped playing? I doubt there's been anyone since then. There really should be more facial hair in cricket. Surely it's part of the games heritage, can't the selctors enforce it? Even if that's just a rule for wicket keepers. Agree with you on Cook. But that sums up how I feel about Broad too.
