  7. Dear Friends, For those who oppose the unnecessary and damaging road closures in our area, please join the 'onedulwich' and 'dulwichalliance' protest at the junction in the Village today! Democracy and the people's wishes needs to be listened to! Down with this sort of thing ! :) See attached pictures for further details! Join Us At The Junction Oct 16th 12pm onwards :)
  8. It's good to see the problems with the road closures are being laid down here, also don't forget the closure of Champion Hill into a one way system is another road close by that needs opening again into a 2 way instead of one way, will help and ease the forcefully made congestion...anyone says this is not true/not the reality is purely head in the sand, head above board, and some people are totally misleading them self's thinking closure are a good idea, and this is not fooling people who are, not stupid. Using this pandemic to rush and push things through (closures) when it's hard to get any noted opposition is pure criminal activity.

So you're saying Redpost that 100's very slowy moving idling enginesover longs periods of time as the direct consequence of these silly road closures of traffic of which will be dirty diesels with massive engines (bus/lorry/vans/trucks/skips/amazone delivery/trades\ec...) when idleing are less polluting than were as before they were freely moving about at 20 MPH and not concentrated dirty fumes in one very small compacted area of a busy high street and surrounding ares's of ED? No, No , and No sorry....no.... Not all car's are stop start even new ones. When hybrids have to accelerate for travel feet at time due to the road closures, they are defiantly emitting fumes when accelerating, not enough kinetic energy to harves energy at 5 feet a time over 100+meters. Same with buses. sorry not buying that sounds like a council point of view that to me...sorry it does. Please we are the measuremeant devices you found and shared here?
  10. With all this terrible traffic, I bet Southwark did not monitor air pollution/traffic levels before the barriers were installed, and sure won't after the installation, and a reason would be that air pollution and traffic would be x2 or x3 worse in that area, such it takes at least x2 to get to A-B using those very useful and load baring roads!
  11. Yes I saw the unnecessary excessive traffic...again....
  12. I assume that those of you pushing this petition will also support me in my bid to have the following roads re-opened, as without these closures my assertion is that the traffic will flow much more freely around the local area: Oglander Road: (remove paved area at Grove Vale end to allow a straight cut through up to Bellenden Road and beyond), Ondine Road : remove one way section- benefit as above Coppleston Road: Make 2 way throughout Bellenden Road: make 2 way throughout Oakhurst Grove: remove bollards near junction with Kelmore Grove - to allow access through from East Dulwich Road and remove pressure from the Peckham Rye junction. Milo Road- remove barriers to allow easy access from Lordship Lane through to the village Friern Road- remove barriers to allow for alternative to getting stuck down the side of Peckham Rye. I feel sure that if all these closures were reopened then the gridlock in the area would disappear. =========================================================================================================== Yes I would support you, and same for getting rid of Champion Hill one way system, Please let me know!
