  1. It's always a tricky one, this. Do you reckon he's not keen on the taste of formula or is it the bottles themselves? If it's taste you could always try mixing it with your breast milk (starting off with it being mostly your milk then increasing the ratio over time until he's used to formula). Or try different brands to see if he prefers it. If it's the bottles he doesn't like then it might be a bit more tricky - sometimes it helps if someone else does the bottle feeds to start with because it could be that he prefers to snuggle up with you. They are cunning creatures and he could have worked out that if he kicks off enough you'll feed him yourself in the end! Sorry if you've already done the above - it's so difficult getting it right isn't it? Best of luck.
  2. Hi MelanieRose - I haven't got one of these, but when I saw it in a catalogue I laughed my head off. It's probably useful for about two weeks, by which time your babies will be even longer and will bump their heads on it then before you know it they'll be climbing over it too. And that'll be another ?30 spent on a large plastic thing which will hang around your bathroom in an annoying manner. Don't buy it!
  3. Hi TJ, as a matter of fact it was Hillcourt - thanks for the inside info! But I do take other posters' points about pavements being for people, can't argue with that. But in mitigation, down our road the wheelie bins really do take up as much space as a scooter so the path isn't obstructed any further by parking a bike the same width. To be honest, I was never really sure if it was illegal and I decided to park it right up against my front wall and bolt it there for security. And I would have got away with it, if it wasn't for that meddling parking attendant. TJ - it was issued early on a Sunday morning so I bet it was the guy you've spotted. Still, I have now sent my bike to live somewhere else with a garage because I don't ride it much these days.
  4. Has anyone else had a parking ticket on their moped recently? I have chained my moped to my front wall at night for years without a problem. It wasn't blocking the path or anything (same amount of space as the wheelie bins which line the pavement down our road) then suddenly on Sunday morning there's a ticket on it. It is an offence unfortunately, but I just thought it was odd after so much time. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has had one or if I just got unlucky?
