Rangers or Celtic in the ENGLISH Premier league? The answer is in the title. And if so, at whose expense? Who would miss out on promotion or be dropped as a result of such a ludicrous scenario. Leave them where they are. I wonder if the roles where reversed ther would be the same sort of clamour for ENGLISH teams to join the SCOTTISH prem league. -

Apart from the beloved Arsenal there are many things in life which I find uplifting and makke me happy, unforunately even when a thread is started with the best of intentions, it seems to attract negativity almost immediately, I hasten to add I've been as gulity as anybody else of doing this. But hey ho, we can all dream can't we?

Can we not have a "what makes you happy" thread or is that asking too much?

Mockney whilst I admire you're sentiments,it seems the forum is completely bereft of anything uplifting. It's all bitch and moan , and I'm one of that number unfortunately.

No LadyG just that the game is irrelevant, and I'm wholly against the pay per view culture that is gradually overtaking the whole of sport never mind football.

I dislike the trend which seems to have taken hold whereby we are having to pay more and more for the privilege to watch ANY sporting occasion. Yes in this instnace it's a freebie, but the game itself will probabaly about as exciting as watching paint dry. Where's the incentive for a team that's already qualified to do/play well? We all know pride in the shirt no longer exists, so what's the point. I'd rather watch the Arsenal any day of week, this game is irrelevant.

Ladygooner Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hoopers are showing the Ukraine v England match on > Sat at 5pm - anyone fancy an EDF football forum > outing? I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. What's next, pay for the privilege of listeing to radio commentary. I can't believe it's come to this. So I guess we may as well go the whole hog. Shut all the sports stadia down and pay to watch from our armchairs. Thanks Sky & Murdoch, you uselss no good c**t.
