They broke the mould when they made the likes of Frank McClintock, Tony Adams, Steve Bould and Keown (he's got a monkeys head)

Not as boring as you getting all high and mighty when the forces of darkness are linked with diving, especially as the players I've mentioned were or are the best exponents on the planet. If you can't take the heat, piss off out the kitchen. >:D< Oh by the way I've discovered emocions.

Yes Bergkamp was seen a huge coup for Rioch especially as he was at the height of his powers when he signed for us. Who knows, maybe when the wheel of fortune turns full circle or we start to implement better coaching techniques for youngsters at grass roots levels, things may change. Please god.

Although we've never had a central midfielder of his physical presence since.
  8. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Messi, Kaka etc all wanted here - but not > interested. This may sound controversial but I also think some players don't have the balls to come to the prem as they see it as overly physical. And in Messi and Kaka's case, it was probably that and the cultural thing, which I can't blame them for. After all, using Madrid as example against say London or Manchester is non starter, Madrid wins hands down.

So what happened with Henry, Ronaldo, etc, are they not elite???
  10. As a footnote to the Eduardo fiasco, will UEFA be taking any action against the Celtic fan(s) that shone a green laser in his face as he stepped up to take the pen?

  13. This my final word on this sorry pile of shite. Eduardo gets a two match ban for diving, the guy that busted his leg got, remind me, was it a 3 match ban. This is justice????

No it wasn't final because UEFA stuck their oar in. If the decison had been final we wouldn't be having thse posts on the forum now would we?? FFS!

  17. Sandperson Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ha, ha. I love that in Atlia world Arsenal players > don't dive. I think he IS Arsene Wenger. You really are a bigger plum than I thought, if you check my posting I've not once said our players have never dived, but take a long hard look at your team before you start throwing the dirt around. As I said your record is fair from clean in that regard.

I've no fixation with them, as they all seem to play for your team, and I think you'll find Red Devil is the person who has the fixation not I. Yet gain you missed the point, Arshavin was clearly clattered but didn't get the pen, WHAT A SHOCK!!! AS for divers, those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, or have already forgotten the antics of Horse Face Van Nistleroy, Forlan, and the fake Ronaldo, not to mention Shrek???

Couldn't agree more this was when the fat twat Shrek look a like Rooney went down like a sack of shite when Sol Campbell looked at him the wrong way, gaining a pen and putting and end to our unbeaten run. Easily the biggest and most notorious dive in the history of the Prem. Can we ban him retrospectively???????

  23. I've been away for a few days in sunny Southampton and this is my first chance to post pre the old stratford farce. Surprise surprise, Man ure get a penalty, and even greater surprise we don't!!! No argument with the Rooney penalty, but Fletcher was a dirty little fcuker throughout, and, surprise surprise, went unpunished. Now if we are to use video evidence to punish players retrospectively, as was the case with Eduardo, then Fletcher should be banned retrospectively on the basis of clattering the little Russian. Never mind, at least Man Ure didn't score from open play, and I beleive that the Champions this season, on the basis of what I've seen thus far, will be the noveau riche CSKA Fulham.

Yes he'd been taking lessons from the ladyboy Ronaldo.
