MP Helen Hayes got in touch with me and I've sent her over an email summarising the issues that have been listed above. Hopefully, that will help put some weight on Royal Mail to sort out the issues.

It's past 4 pm. Has anyone that's been having trouble getting post received anything today? Not a single post worker has been seen on Upland Road today.
  5. Finally got through to someone at Royal Mail and I reported the irregularities on all streets mentioned in the area. He confirmed that there are "issues" in the area with a backlog of mail and this has already been brought up. The manager now has 72 hours to fix the problem. James, customer service, seemed to know what he was talking about and was familiar already with the complaint, so I'm assuming we're in fairly good hands. It's worth giving them a call, also, as I mentioned that I have time sensitive mail that is in first class and they'd say they'll give my address particularly close attention and look through for any backlog.

Yup. This is almost exactly my experience. I'm going to carry on spamming Royal Mail until I get an answer. Would recommend everyone doing the same. This is the contact form: https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/webforms/contact/c/310 Here is the number: 03457 740 740 To get the contact form you need to click complaints -> I'd like to make a complaint -> "Still Need Help?" and it's there.
  8. We have a similar issue on our road. 96 Upland Road is completely falling apart and the trees are growing over the pavement. There is an owner who lives a few doors down who refuses to do anything about it. A few weeks ago, there was a letter from the council that was tied to their front drainpipe. Still, no action, despite it causing severe damage to the house attached to it.

Thanks for the info. There's a Labour Councillor meeting on 4th October. I'll be attending, so I'll see if I can bring it up then.
  10. We live on Upland Road, near Piermont Green, and the service we get is almost non-existent. When we first moved here a year ago, I can't remember having any issues. The last 3 or 4 months have been woeful. Most days we receive no post at all, and when we do, it's late. On average it's taking over a week for any first class mail to come through. Important documents and items, too. Talking to Royal Mail about this issue is pointless as they claim ignorance. To take care of this issue, is there anything we can do as a community?
  11. Maison Dog down near Lordship Lane is ?25 a day and is amazing.
