  1. You may be right LOL... Sorry esteemed Chair: back on topic...
  2. Haven't a clue. And of that you may be 100% certain!
  3. Hugs to Master Quids, and Mr. Boogie, and GiGi, and Lil Bro. Must be Friday today.
  4. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. My sincere commiserations: I'll buy (the loser) a pint tonight...how's that!?:)) PERHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  5. > Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------ > very unusual for declan I agree. > Declan Wrote: ------------------------------------------ > There are times when you can be too agreeable. I don't suppose you have any examples Declan?;-)
  6. He should be back soon...any time now, in fact...
  7. Thank you... To be fair, there's no competition around at the moment: I'm playing with myself - so to speak!
  8. Lovely outside? You can't be in London then. It looks wet, cold, and grey from where I'm sitting.:( But you are right...Mr. T, having spent a small fortune, should give it a (T)whirl. PS: have you decided F-T?
  9. Funniest post of the day! PS: Lidl regularly sells bike accessories relatively cheaply. I saw a helmet there for under ?10. But you have to be quick: it's very much here today, gone tomorrow in there. And stocks vary from store to store. If you are not confident about getting on your bike, why don't you sign up to Southwark's free cycling lessons. Many people have: and rate them highly too.
  10. > Unfortunately, more incidents with cyclist will > help with this measurement of uncertainty. Wouldn't different categories of uncertainty be subject to different methods of measurement? To me, there are different classes of uncertainty. E.g., I view the uncertainty alluded to immediately above as being of the variety which becomes more certain with experimentation. Whereas, where in the OP you talk of "fixed and variables", this type of uncertainty would become more certain with the application of probability and chance? No?

    I wondered that too.

My fault for using the words "piss take" above. The correct terminology should have been satirical humour.

    Ask Admin

Hello Admin, A (rather lengthy and "piss take") post of mine has disappeared from the Chain Gang thread in the Drawing Room. I presume this was because it was sent under the name of my alter-ego - the football hoolingan, in which case, fair cop and all of that. May I resend it under "Ladymuck" please?
  15. > When I sent my "message" I was told that it had > already been sent and was being blocked, so not > sure how much use I was. Ah! Did you send an exact copy of the standard example letter? It's just that the web-site does say, that you need to write in your own words (or at least change it up a bit) otherwise the system will view the message as having already been sent and block it. A bit daft, I know...
  16. Sadly, another cyclist died in London (on 4th Feb) after being struck by a lorry. Two years ago Eilidh Cairns was also killed by a lorry whilst cycling. Her family have since been campaigning to get all HGVs in Europe fitted with sensors and cameras to remove their blind spots. If you want to add your voice to this campaign please spend a few minutes: here.. The whole process took me 5 minutes (includes confirmation of receipt by Harriet Harman). You only have until 16th February 2011.
  17. You are right. I won't use it anymore. In fact I'll ask Admin. to deactivate him. I didn't mean to offend. Twas just meant to be a laugh. I didn't think.
  18. > Lady Muck, you will get in trouble. I hope not. I'm not being deceptive: I've made it deliberately obvious - for a laugh (he was created specifically for your game thread in fact. But he suits this thread perfectly too). He's my football hooligan alter-ego. But I get what you are saying...and, incidentally, you made a very good point in the Ask Admin Section. You weren't waffling at all.
  19. Sean, how DO you remember that far back? You really ARE an elephant - aren't you!
  20. Well there you go then: it's a no brainer!
