Funniest post of the day! PS: Lidl regularly sells bike accessories relatively cheaply. I saw a helmet there for under ?10. But you have to be quick: it's very much here today, gone tomorrow in there. And stocks vary from store to store. If you are not confident about getting on your bike, why don't you sign up to Southwark's free cycling lessons. Many people have: and rate them highly too.

Hello Admin, A (rather lengthy and "piss take") post of mine has disappeared from the Chain Gang thread in the Drawing Room. Sadly, another cyclist died in London (on 4th Feb) after being struck by a lorry. Two years ago Eilidh Cairns was also killed by a lorry whilst cycling. Her family have since been campaigning to get all HGVs in Europe fitted with sensors and cameras to remove their blind spots.
