  1. How about closing down the stretch of road between the two lights ether side of the park? There would only be three roads approaching and the two parts of the park could be joined back together?
  2. Sorry Sue, didn't mean to be horrible; me English is bad... Forgive pls.
  3. Stir fry veg in a packet is not an essential item. Buy veg and a knife instead. Chicken pieces? Buy chicken and chop it up. It's neither hard nor time-consuming. And enough negativity everyone. Why not focus more on what's better? What are the ethical policies for example?
  4. Oh my lord, can you all shut up and stick to the bleedin topic? All I want to know is will they move out if the owner asks, nicely or not?
  5. I live near PRP and they bother me a lot, particularly the string of jumbos at 4.30 - 5. I'm sorry for those stranded or in the industry but it's been a great respite. I think the one no-flight-day per month idea is a vote-winner.

  7. Yes, cones a much better idea than another car on the road. First staff member arriving could put them out and last one out put them in. Easiest solution is best.
  8. Mine's parked near Colyton but clean as a whistle.
  9. Great idea. Ask them to stick it outside Goodrich School every morning at about 9.01.

  13. Maybe here's an idea; fence off the zig zag area and stick a permanent camera on it, then create a drop-off zone further down the street?
  14. There are three gates; upland, goodrich and Dunstans. However Goodrich is the only one with a big parking bay outside it, marked by some jolly looking yellow zig zag lines.

  16. Are we agreed then: a camera on Goodrich and every Southwak School zig-zag? Mr B, how do we get it done?

Web cam to a router, report them to Southwark/police. Or, perhaps slightly more sensibly, staff member stands by zig zags once in a while.

  19. "BUT with respect to the Goodrich School drop offs on the mini rounabout. I suspect many parents have just been caught unawares by the Dunstans Road renewals and knee jerk dropped their kids off. I'm hopeful that most have'nt consciously been thoughtless about it but probably caught be surprise and with uncertainty humans don't always think clearly about the big picture." Not so, Mr B. I am at the school most Fridays and it's ALWAYS the same; people park at the roundabout and zig-zags. Unless there's a threat of a fine then it will always be. I've rightly received a notice for driving through the rye-lane bus-only 10m bit of road. Why not put a camera on all zig-zags? Surely child safety is more important that keeping bus routes clear?
  20. Stick a camera on the zig-zags, it will pay for itself and be a permanent deterrant.
  21. That would be a big effort, or effluent?
