Highly recommend Steve and Nicola. https://www.back-to-wood.com/ They recently made our floors wonderful - sanding, varnishing etc. there was carpet down previously so floor boards weren?t in great shape at the start, but by the end they were fabulous! Lovely people too. And competitively priced. We had a bit of a wait as they are v. Busy but it was worth it.

Does anyone know someone who can help with laying new floorboards? Will involve lifting up current floorboards and laying new (reclaimed) ones down. The floor was previously carpeted. We cannot just resand the current boards and need new ones laying because a large part of the room is ply (where original boards were historically taken out for some reason or another) Thanks

On the sell side, good experience with KFH & Pickwick. Have not had good experiences with Truepennys and would not recommend (v. poor communication which at times was bordering on misleading), but perhaps that was just us as the poster above rates them.

Another recommendation for Vinton! Did some really nice work for us. Work done quickly and to a high standard, very reasonable rates too. Lovely, polite and friendly guy.

Hello I am part way through getting the kitchen done but unfortunately it?s paused as our fitter had a family issue. Job will start again in a week but was wondering if there is a local plumber who is around to reattach the washing machine & dishwasher until work gets going again. Both appliances are in the kitchen & pipes fully accessible. Im on Barry road & very flexible on timings. Ideally would want it done in the next day or so. Can anyone recommend any great dog boarding in East Dulwich? Our dog has just had a little op and whilst we do not need boarding until end of October, mobility will still be a bit limited so cannot board with other dogs and will need extra care. Thanks.
