Hi. I found a debit card on Barry Road this evening.
If your family name is Lemos or you know a person with that name pls message me and provide a few more details about the card to reunite you.
Will give it until Fri evening or call the bank to cancel.

Yes, it is on every week except bank holidays.

If you are looking to to play badminton, come along to one of our Monday evening sessions. We are a social club playing every week from 7-9pm at Harris Girls Academy, Homestall Road (?6.50 inc shuttles)
Please note that this session is not suitable for beginners.

As part of the Artist Trail / Christmas Cracker celebrations this coming weekend, my friend Sarah Eyton (http://saraheytondesigns.co.uk/)will be exhibiting some of her lovely jewellery at the East Dulwich Picturehouse on Saturday and Sunday.
So if you are still looking for some special stocking fillers and Christmas presents, make sure to pop in and have a look. Some of her styles have previously been featured in Grazia, Vogue and Stylist and she?ll also be revealing a very new line of accessories for your canine and feline friends.
No, I have not been paid to say any of the above ? I just love her designs and want to support a friend and local artist :)

Hi Si
Yes that should be no problem. Looking forward to seeing you and your racket tomorrow.

Hi Si
We've been quite busy lately but we've never turned anyone away. However, it might be that you have to sit out quite a few matches in between.
Alternatively we also play Saturday mornings from 9am-12pm and have four courts then so a better chance to give it a go if that's suitable for you?
If Saturday mornings don't work (it's the morning after a Friday night after all..) there is also another session run on Friday nights in Harris Girls Academy from 8pm-10pm which has 4 courts for matches for all abilities and with the occasional tuition (sign up online via Fun Friday Badminton on Meet up or get one of their walk in slots on the day by turning up on time).

Yes we'll be there Monday 5th Oct.
-
We had a great turn out last week, please feel free to come along next Monday!

I lost my oyster card this evening (Fri 24th) somewhere between Barry Road and Peckhamplex. It is in a coppery sleeve which slightly bigger than the card itself.
If by any chance you have come across it, please message me.

Do you fancy a game of badminton on Monday nights?
We run a badminton session for adults every Monday from 7pm-9pm at Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich Homestall Road, London SE22 0NR.
There are 3 courts available and we play doubles as well as mixed and if numbers permit you also get to play a few singles matches.
The standard is intermediate and up - so if play elsewhere on a regular basis and need a new challenge or you haven?t played in a while and want to get fit again, this is the session to try.
The cost is ?6.50 for two hours (first time you only pay ?3.50) and includes shuttles as well as friendly banter.
There is plenty of parking right outside the school and we are close to various bus stops: 484 & 343(2 min walk) and 63 & 363 (4min walk away)
So just bring yourself and your racket and come by some time.

I have been waiting for a couple of letters that were posted beginning of last week - still no sign of them.
Bills have come through as normal though without delays unfortunately.

Cosmonaut - Badminton at Harris on Monday nights is on from 7-9pm / ?6.50 and on Saturdays from 9am-12pm/ ?7.50 - great bunch of people and a lot less busy than Friday evenings. (they are all a lot better players than me though)

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Hi there
Has anyone recommendations for a nice Spa / spa day in the South East (maybe including afternoon tea, massage, facial, pools etc)? A friend and I would like to spend a birthday being pampered somewhere in nice surroundings which is reachable by public transport but not necessarily in London.
I remember a few postings some time ago but couldn?t find them via the search engine. I have looked on Wahanda/ SpaSeekers but additional (and tested) suggestions would be very welcome :)

Great idea! Unfortunately I can't make this one but look forward to coming along another time.

Try Amida Spa Beckenham

One of the courts in Harris is sometimes rented out to private bookings to my knowledge. On the other hand, the clubs are friendly and you can pay as you go - so give it a try if you can't find a court to rent nearby.

Anti-January blues drinks sound good Flairyfairy!

My favourite is still Brown's hotel in Mayfair for a special occassion but here is a page which has the best selection of afternoon teas in London http://www.afternoontea.co.uk
