  1. Try visiting Rye Lane and Choumert Road, it was like someone was having a street party down there yesterday afternoon.
  2. Buses and trucks going down residential Melbourne Grove, really?
  3. I thought it was just the salt coming out of the bricks?
  4. Can?t be as annoying as that light plane buzzing around earlier this afternoon for a couple of hours.
  5. It?s a Pokemon Gym.
  6. Paving slabs come in a few standard sizes, measure a couple for a guide.
  7. Many supporters are not happy with the match being on, myself included.
  8. The one up by the library has pet food and toothpaste, no bog rolls though.
  9. Which Director would that be?
  10. I mentioned Melbourne Grove at the start of this thread, selfishly maybe as it?s very close to where I live. The southern section has a 90 degree turn which is already a road rage blackspot, as does Colwell Road thanks to the council?s failure to paint double yellow lines on the inside of the turn. Ridiculous when you see them on the outside turn in Playfield/Lytcott which caused no problem previously. Anyway, back to Melbourne, the crossroads with EDG is already hell, no-one knows who has right of way. An increase of motorists looking to cut from Lordship Lane to EDG to get off the main road, which is human nature is going to block Melbourne unless plans are made from the outset rather than monitored and action taken as a result. One way, back to the barrier across idea previously muted, better get their thinking caps on quick.
  11. I found a parking space in Eynella easy enough for my walk around the park earlier this morning.
  12. Lovely driving around the area today without the school coaches snarling up the roads.
  13. Lovely things, also in Belair Park.
  14. I?m glad Melbourne Grove is getting mentioned. It can often be difficult but the crossroads junction with EDG can often be an absolute nightmare. I do hope serious thought has been given to how this is going to be dealt with as even more traffic at this point is going to be hell.
  15. The odd builders can or grocery delivery doesn?t cause the congestion during school hours that Alleyn?s coaches do.
  16. Unless they?re issued permits which wouldn?t surprise me. The council are doing everything to please Alleyn?s who are the cause of the problem and saying FU to everyone else.
  17. Dulwich Village is going to cop it too. The right turn from the south circular into College Road is going to be terrible, only a few cars can turn here on green even at present. The south circular in general is going to awful. But I guess that?s what they want.
  18. The council need to start thinking about the impact this proposal will have on Melbourne Grove.
  19. I?ve just received a healthy street proposal from the council. Townley Road to be closed during peak times except for cyclists. No access at all to Eynella Street and the Carlton Avenue junction at the village which are to be pedestrians and cyclists only. With regards to the Townley Road proposal the cynic in me says that rather than Alleyn?s sort out the problem that they cause, all other road users with the exception of bikes will have to suffer re-routing.
  20. Another car with a broken window in Melbourne at the EDG junction.
  21. The failure of the council to put the double yellow line on the inside of the right angle turn in Colwell Road is one of them.
  22. Letter through the postbox today. Work commences 6th January.
  23. I dislike Emily?s, it?s really not that good but that?s because I dislike ?fresh chips? and being reminded that?s what?s I?m buying every two minutes while I?m waiting. I stopped going there a while back.
