  1. Oh dear, this must be so worrying for you and his family. I'll keep my eyes open!
  2. I had some time to spend on west norwood high street recently It is just not very pleasant. Nothing wrong or unsafe (during day time) just not too enjoyable. Depends what you're looking for.
  3. We eat what l fancy cooking. Sometime l am lazy and it's pasta/ketchup or fishfingers ... If I am adventurous it's Ottolenghi. I personally don't like ready meals, so we have barely processed food on the table. Meat is not an daily option either. The kids LOVE raw veggies and all sorts of fruit. I don't cook extras, if the kids don't like mushrooms they have to take them out or eat plain rice. I am a fan of a good food, we don't eat rubbish but I don't have a set overall goal. As l know the kids and we parents have a fairly balanced diet, l am not worried if there are unhealthy meals/days in-between. And we don't count the 'greens' they are eating...
  4. Thanks for posting that! Great you all had a great time. I'll spend some time on google to check out your recommendations
  5. Love the mini mirco too but have to say at this age they tipp over the front easily and can be super fast. My then 2 year old had a fall (just a pebble was enough to stop the thing and made him fall flat on his face) when he got it and lost a front tooth. In hindsight i would have waited a bit longer with the mini micro but all over all it's the best scooter by far. enjoy
  6. Hi Cernegie chess club hasn't been relocated yet. Edward is not running another club as far as L know.

  16. Hi, How about Nelly's?! http://www.nellys.co.uk/ I know they always have a long waiting list, but worth a try. My son went there when younger and in his group was a wheelchair bound girl. Staff have been lovely with her, very inclusive. They have a good child/adult ratio, staff is well trained and caring. Good luck! I hope you'll find a place you are both happy with

  21. Hi eveyone, I have recently outed myself as a non football fan, but as we have friends coming from abroad l am trying to be helpful. As we can't watch a saturday afternoon match on TV, they wanted to go and watch it live. I wanted to buy them two tickets for next crystal palace match in selhurst stadium, but tickets cost either ?50 or around ?15 for members. Right? Is it really so expensive as a non-member or are there any other options? Please enlighten me.
  22. Not ED but in Tulse Hill: http://www.childspacenursery.org/home Small groups, great nursery manager, loads of space
  23. In terms of fees scholarships can make a big difference. Sport/music/art can make up to 25% off the bill, academic 40-60%. That depends very much on the school, schools like jags or alleyns reduce the bills only by a few %, because they don't need to beg for elite students. When you start rosemead/oakfield the whole thing seems far away and you can't influence it too much. I can't help with the decision making but wanted to give feedback on the point above Good luck!
