  3. Hi. No tony church is still well also Mel. It was tony redmond bass player in Nigel an Mel band that passed. He started a tribute band ?Think floyd?. Which is still around. Look them up YouTube. Tony church also posted on YouTube.
  4. I think I was still around the uplands at that time, I went out with tony for a few years and knew the boys well, yes very sad that so many have now passed. do you remember Chris Heggarty? he also no longer with us. Such a lot of musical talent gone.
  5. Mel was not in Shadowfax,although they have all hung out together. He was in a band with tony and Nigel who sadly have both also passed.
  6. thoroughly recommend, I had the same with a nail and thought would need new tyre but he fixed for me, very happy!! have been using them for years
  7. just checked out the youtube link, was amazed to also hear chris haggerty, another great ED guitarist of that time who has also sadly passed away. another of the boys from that time Tony 'RED' Redmond who played in tennis shoes with nigel hine in the UPlands both of these now sadly passed too,and were friends of phil and churchie founded Think Floyd a tribute band http://www.think-floyd.com/thinkfloyd/index.html there really was a lot of musical talent in East Dulwich in the 80's, happy memories

  18. Jags has amazing pool lots of free classes and now has a 9 metre climbing wall which is challenging and fun !!!!
  19. Hi Emma, I have great memories of band nights at the uplands, or going down the ups ! There were 3 bands shadowfax an nigels band can't remember name and they always jammed together, I remember us all going to the isle of shelly for a battle of the bands gig, and your dad tuning guitars of several Of the young bands as they didn't know how to properly!!!

Shadowfax played in the uplands an cherry tree in the 1980s i hung out with yh and saw them plsy many times I knew them all well, so sad to hear do many have died, there was also another band at the same time in east dulwich they were all good friends Tony Redmond & Nigel hine who went on to form the tribute bank 'Think floyd' both too have sadly passed away,
