  1. I used William Dunphy from Brockley but have no reason to think Dulwich branch wouldn?t be equally good. Unlike another we toyed with they pre-filled all the forms ( there are loads)and were a lot cheaper than others. They were brilliant and most understanding, they didn?t want money up front and took all the strain they possibly could away from a most stressful time. Also they have excellent relationship with local crems and coroners
  2. I don?t know what you think you are doing on this forum jimlad48. There?s never previously been a place for reasoned, well set out arguments on here.
  3. Southwark have been pretty good and the only 2 businesses I know the owners of have both had their payment. You should take it up with Lambeth.
  4. There have been numerous recommendations for Russel Perrin on here over the years, you really should not have to look any further

    Callows

I had to call out a locksmith this morning and thought I was calling Callows from an entry in Google. In fact it was a google scam which looked like Callows but wasn?t. Quite by chance I saw the boss of Callows on Lordship Lane and realised what had happened. He told me it happens a lot and despite his complaining to Trading Standards and Google nothing happens. So if you want a locksmith in a hurry make sure you are calling his correct number 02082994737 and do not call any 0800 numbers. As always he and his staff are brilliant and sorted my problem very quickly and cheaply.
  6. Hard on the heels of attempt to kill Lordship Lane with CPZ comes next assault on local businesses. Consultation on proposed levy on licensed premises open after midnight has been announced. Why not close all businesses down and create a giant cycle park and use empty shops for drop in consultation surgeries. With all the serious local and international issues, and the Labour Party mired in hatred and antisemitism, only Southwark could become a one issue party completely dominated by the People?s front for Cycling.
  7. Ye# Dulwich Fox a good E D business is closing, 20 odd people are probably out of a job and still it?s all about YOU
  8. This is an extraordinary first world thread. There are,you will be surprised to know, many non car owning people living in the proposed zone. Many of these are elderly, many do not own their properties, many are not very well off and some are not very internet savvy. They rely on visits from children, grandchildren and friends. A CPZ is not going to help them one bit and the cost of visitor permits may be prohibitive. Get over your ?I deserve to park outside my castle attitude? think about your less well off neighbours and see if you can help them fill in their forms to oppose this scheme.
