  1. There have been some really great comments on this thread that I hadn't either known or really thought about regarding the 'unbanked', so thank you for that. It does seem to me that a cafe in a council-ownded/run public space like Peckham Rye should be accessible for all, and that should include both the cost of the food and drink and how to pay. Maybe one of the councillors on the EDF could raise this? @JamesBarber or @RenataHamvas?
  2. It?s incredibly infuriating. This is our first year with me working full time and we had no idea this would happen. Even the clubs that aren?t in schools are closed!
  3. Not really - but thanks for reading and responding so fast!
  4. does anyone know of any holidays clubs, other than DKHAP and Southwark Gymnastics, that fit the criteria of running until 6 and being easily accessible from Peckham/Camberwell? Trying to book a variety for my daughter, we've got a week at Nimble Arts but that involves a drive there and back twice a day around the work day so I don't want to do that very much! TIA
  5. I would love to use this club, however for us as two full time working parents stopping at 5 is just too early. If you ever changed to running until 6 then we'd definitely be there!
  6. If it's only one brick thick then the heating costs must be astronomic? Is the whole of the hospital site going to be part of the school? I hope so, as it's looking very squished at the moment!
  7. Thanks for all this, everyone. I'll have a look through the papers and start getting in touch with people.
  8. Lyndhurst's is this Saturday afternoon (22nd June)
  9. Can anyone recommend a tutor or tutoring class for the JAGS entrance exam? My daughter is at a state primary. Any information anyone can give would be very gratefully received, this is all new to me! Should I get my daughter assessed before we start - obviously I think she's a bright girl (!) but if we're really barking up the wrong tree I'd rather know sooner than later. Thanks all.
  10. Our cat Bolivar is missing from Denman Road. He is a quite small tabby with spotty marking. He's semi-feral and very skittish around people. He doesn't have a collar but he is microchipped. If you live on Denman or Talford Roads please could you check your gardens and sheds as we think he might have got trapped somewhere. My number is 07812 767108. Thank you Susi
