Do most of these independent restaurants, tea shops, delis etc manage food waste responsibly?

With the recent spate of bike thefts in the area, I urge those of you who fail to remove/secure quick release parts and lights when parking your bike to think twice. It makes your bike a target, and I only mention this as in spite of the fact I had two very good quality locks securing both wheels, frame, and forks to the bike rack, some tosser still took the trouble of bringing an Allen key removing the stem, handle bars, and brake lever of my bike (basically the whole front steering). So let this be a warning to those leaving their lights flashing, and quick release parts unsecured as they nip into Sainsbury?s!

Lordship Lane ---> Brick Lane -
Yeah, it is hard to get a good curry on LL. Tandoori Nights is great, but last time I checked it was nearly 5 quid for a side portion of Tarka Dahl, that's without bread, rice or anything else, I mean come on!
-
Nope they've gone. It's a shame, I liked the coriander. Not sure how this new place will fare. Its slightly off the curry cluster on LL.

Sorry, I was a little vague in the start of my thread. Yes Townleygreen, why another express store? Too right, many regular items are indeed marked up relative to their larger stores. I'm sure it won't be long till we see a couple of Sainsbury Locals sprouting their ugly heads nearby. p.s. I agree their 'fresh' bread is utter s@!t, ayres is just around the corner, and they do fab bread

Was it really necessary to launch another store so close to the one on East Dulwich Road?! Chris

Jesus, I definitely won't be dinning at that chaps restaurant. Judging by his taste buds, I dread to think what horror I'll be served! During my last takeway I had to resort to tilting those tin foil trays to side, in an attempt to allow excess oil to drain! Yuk! -
Does anyone know if the old nuns head does pizza? Chrisz
