  1. We used Patrick to clear out a large very messy garden. He and his colleague did a great job and both had a really good attitude to their work. Would definitely recommend.
  2. Looking for 2 people to clear a large garden in Streatham. Work involves weeding, clearing, digging, mowing. The price for the job is ?250. Please pm if interested. Many thanks
  3. Great class Fran really enjoyed it, feel like I've worked every single muscle in my body!
  4. It took me 47 tries to get through on Weds and then I was 8th in the queue and held for 26 minutes. When I finally spoke to the Receptionist she said the only way I could get an appointment would be to queue outside from 7am, not a practical option with 2 small children.
  5. Excellent condition ?29 for a new one looking for ?10. Thanks Emma
  6. Hi Belle I just wanted to second Fuschia's recommendation for Christine Neillands, I had a really awful time after my first baby was born and ended up staying in King's for a week. I was so scared second time round and Christine really helped to calm me down and the experience was completely different. I didn't meet Mike but Leonie Penna was my consultant and she is amazing and really lovely, I was considering elective CS but in the end decided on a natural birth but they would have been supportive whichever decision I made. Good luck with everything.
  7. Hi I can't make this one but will be there the following week unless anyone fancies a Tuesday one as well? Emma x
  8. Just wanted to check everyone had seen the other post - the plan is to meet at 3pm at the gates opposite the picture gallery. See you all later.
  9. Great Tuesday it is - I might also be closer to 3pm as well but will try and get there for 2.30. I think we might need to do something so we recognise each other I think it's meant to be a nice day so it will probably be really busy.
  10. Shall we say Tuesday afternoon then - maybe 2.30/3ish. We could meet at the cafe in the park if that suits everyone. Lou I hope that's ok with you I feel like I've hijacked your post a bit. Look forward to meeting you all. x
  11. Hi Lou Thanks for your pm - I thought I would reply on here and then maybe we could get a date when we can all meet up together. I think Tues or Weds afternoon would be good for us. Sorry carrieon23 and fmay just so you know I have a 19 month old boy. x
  12. Brilliant thanks will go and have a look now.
  13. Apologies if this post is in the wrong place but just wondered if anyone had found a child's navy converse baseball boot - it might be somewhere between Goose Green and the end of Crystal Palace Rd. Many thanks
  14. I got one the other day from Bonnies flower shop on Lordship Lane - not sure if they have 1st birthday ones but there was a fairly big choice. Have a good party.
  15. Well looks like I won't make it today my son has been up since 5.30am was hoping he would make it through till lunch but he is falling asleep now. Don't want him going into meltdown in the library! I will definiately be there next week though.
  16. Have you got room for one more this morning for the library/cafe?? My son is 16 months old and a lot of our mum friends have gone back to work as well so would love some more mums to meet up with.
  17. We are in the same boat and have tried 2 types of poison, sonic alarms and traps with no success. It really is awful I'm constantly looking for poos and have become a complete clean freak! A pest control guy from Southwark council came out and said we need to fill any holes in with wire wool - this is tricky when they are under the kitchen units! Also the larger pellet poison is better than the small green/blue crystals apparently. The other thing he said to do is to fit rubber draft exculders on all the doors to keep them contained although I think it's a little late in our case. Hope that helps a bit - we did notice yesterday that 2 pellets had been eaten so fingers crossed!!
  18. Hi A week after my son had his MMR he was really off it - had one of the worst nights sleep since he was a newborn, his temp was 39 for a couple of days and he had a rash. I don't know if it was the MMR but I mentioned it to the nurse when we went in for his swine flu jab and she said it probably was as some babies do react badly to it. Hope that helps a bit. xx
  19. There is a playgroup at St Barnabas Church in Dulwich Village on tuesdays from 9.45-11 and the music session at Dulwich library on a wednesday is good. My son is just over a year old too and I'm finding I need plenty of activities to entertain him!
  20. I've been going for a month now and I think it's great- definitely worth the money!
  21. I went for my assessment on Saturday and was really impressed, have to go back next week for them to do a programme. It's quite a long process but I'm hoping it will motivate me to go! The class timetable is good- haven't been to any yet but will let you know.
  22. I just called and they said the open day will be next Saturday now instead.
