  1. & this morning he was feeling much better. Media is screwing with us. Pretty sick really, as regardless of what you voted for, surely you don't want the worst outcome for this guy. C'mon now...
  2. & hopefully neutered? Kitten season has just started. Siamese cats are a rare sighting on the streets so I imagine if anyone sees Obi they'll assume he's lost/gone wandering. It's worth taking a look on https://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/ where lost cats are found & reported. I hope he returns to you soon & well! Kindest, Heather {The Wingless Bird} 07715288964
  3. It is possible that if they were sitting ontop of a bin someone assumed they were for the bin & took them. The title of this thread could do with a better description as the culprit likely has no idea they've stolen potted plants that were sat ontop of a bin for other reason than to be dumped.
  4. Mainly young couples hogging the pavements of Upland/NCR & LL right now. Even those who are clearly aware of the situation; using loud speaker between them, telling their friends they look forward to seeing them soon... meanwhile, hogging the streets & oblivious of other people. I've given up on pavements completely. I walk in the street & dip in between cars whenever I need to. This hasn't made anyone on the pavement more aware of just how much they're hogging it.
  5. Foxes & cats wouldn't drag such items out of the bins. If anything the scent of dirty nappies would deter them from snooping completely

Now would be the perfect time to get yourself a dashcam & take the dangerous drivers off our streets :)) They're going to stand out more than ever during this lockdown.
  7. Also, If you have an NHS card, they will let you straight in. No queueing.
  8. Good news! Signing up as a volunteer or requesting help as a vulnerable, elderly or disabled individual has become easier than ever with our brand new Goose Green Mutual Aid website! You will no longer need to add your details to our live spreadsheet. We are now asking incoming callers to use our forms {when possible! As we are aware not everyone has access to the internet}. Please share our official GGMA website with relatives, friends & neighbours within our Goose Green ward. Goose Green Mutual Aid: http://goosegreenmutualaid.co.uk Please stay safe & well 💝 *Wash your hands *& keep a 2 meter distance from others in public places! Heather {The Wingless Bird} 07715288964
  9. Some corner shops are better stocked than places like M&S, Co-Op, Sainsburys... Chances are you can find what you need a lot closer to home.

This is exactly what you do & how it has lead to many personal attacks in the past. You have a very twisted way of thinking, Sue. Did it not occur to you that all I meant was: maybe you should be a little bit more careful with how you treat people on these forums because they are people you don't know & they might just end up being the ones you need? I don't see any of your forum buddies stepping up to help. The usual clique of EDF bullies have all gone into hiding. I'm not going to entertain you. What good could come out of opening a can of worms? Would you now apologise for your actions? Damage is done. So no... I don't think I will tell you. Perhaps the mystery of not knowing will give you pause whenever you get that urge to drag some innocent poster down. I just hope you take the time to reflect on your own actions when people like Springer come along. Now that you know I have far more important things to tend to... Take care, Sue.
  16. Sue Wrote: > ETA: I'm really upset to see that you are one of > what I thought were lovely people coordinating the > help for people round here. I am. I'm also someone you have attacked many times in the past for literally no reason, so maybe you should be a bit more careful.
  17. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If you know who this is, I'd be extremely grateful > if you could ask them to turn it down :( I'd be extremely grateful if you'd be a lot less nasty at times, Sue. Maybe then people like Springer wouldn't give you a taste of your own medicine.
  18. I know. It was absolutely heartbreaking to hear/read & immediately scroll from seeing the images of pets laying in the streets of China after being thrown from balconies & windows in fear that pets were contributing to the spread. Everyone in the pet care industry has been debunking myths & we're keeping our clients updated. So long as you're keeping your hands clean before & after you'll be fine. Kindest, Heather {The Wingless Bird}
  19. By now 95% of streets within our Goose Green ward will have received our self-isolating support flyer. We've had an incredible response; with 300+ volunteers & growing by the minute! So much so that our official whatsapp group is fluctuating full & people are unable to join. We now have our very own newsletter to keep everyone updated & involved. Feel free to subscribe here: https://mailchi.mp/d431cd2f8f97/goose-green-mutual-aid {top left} If you are elderly, vulnerable, self-isolating & in need of support, you can edit our spreadsheet {below} to add your name, details & let us know how we may be able to help you in the "individuals" section.   20. Hi! As a local professional cat sitter, highly recommend visiting the PDSA's website for information regarding C19 & general pet care {their articles are more directed towards canines, otherwise you could visit icatcare for felines} https://www.pdsa.org.uk/what-we-do/blog/vet-qa-can-pets-catch-coronavirus Kindest, Heather {The Wingless Bird}

DulwichBorn&Bred Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That might be the Mutual Aid Volunteers handing > out flyers for the other volunteers to post within > the GG Ward. The group is kept very small. Correct. That would be us. We have small "gatherings" every 2pm & 7pm. I'm taking the 2pm shifts, sitting inside with a stack of flyers & hand writing my number on every one of them. A volunteer will occassionally come in to drop off or pick up. We're limiting contact with eachother, constantly washing hands & have hand sanitizers.
