Water carrier to describe Drinkwater, nicely (if unintentionally) done.
  2. I can't help thinking that John Terry is a large part of the problem at Chelsea. I maybe wrong but he is very close to Abramovich.

  4. I'm loving the defence of Zac Goldsmith this morning, kind of on the lines of "I was only obeying orders", which makes him one of two things' A thick puppet Complicit.
  5. That would have been hilarious had it been from a Chelsea forum.

It mimics the effect of what cars do to London every day. So, no, it's very different. "Not quite the same thing but when it comes down to riding on the wrong side of the road, jumping lights and along the pavement.... ...Well thats what many cyclists do .." Thanks for that, never been said before. Ever.
  7. I'm in the either camp. It's been just what the PL needed.
  8. Never thought I'd agree with Peter Oborne http://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/london-mayor-race-conservatives-game-religious-and-racial-divisions-538083247

Am I the one starting endless threads shitting on(metaphorically speaking) people living in my area? Am I the one taking a local forum down the same old line of supposed class envy? Am I being Negative? Am I? I've used the term 3 times, all on threads you've started, for a reason.
  11. I dob't understand this thread title. Does this mean Gentrification is dead? Either way, it's yet another rinse and repeat yawn fest.

In terms of an online profile, yes. Thanks.

  14. Thank you Sprinter Sacre, thank you.
  15. Actually, don't bother rinsing. Just repeat, over and over again.
  16. Rinse and repeat
  17. > They are not the people on food stamps, working > two jobs on workfare. They are not on TV because they are working two jobs, obvs. Sadly though this is exactly the demographic Trump is appealing to, it's a genuine belief that he can change their circumstance and it's fuelled by paranoia, bigotry and greed. Sounds very familiar, historically.

    Uber

I use Uber a lot, I like it but I have noticed a trend of late. If you order one via the app and don't give notice of destination (Sometimes I'm not sure of my exact end point), you'll get a call from the driver asking for your location(er, you have that) and were you are going. If it's not lucrative enough they will drop the fare without telling you and leave you looking at at the home screen again. Bit like a black cab.

Depends what or who they "crash and burn" into?
  21. BFS is a distant memory and he has his work cut out at Sunderland, particularly after the Johnson case. For me though, football is an entertainment and when I'm not entertained (for good or bad), I stop paying. That's what Allardyce did, he stopped me going for he first time in 30 years. So, I understand your opinion RD and AM, try to understand mine. It's not like MUFC or their supporters behaved any better with Moyes, is it?
  22. Great atmosphere last night, would have given away my kids to have been there. Mind, I'd give 'em both away for a 2 for 1 at KFC but that's another story. What I really loved was seeing Bilic and Mo Po having a chat whilst in their technical areas like a couple of enthusiasts rather than the histrionics and bullshit of Mourinho et al, refreshing. Not saying they aren't capable of that but under that pressure was notable. Great season for us, better season for football in general.

No it's not a fun spectator sport, it's a terrifying thought, globally.
  24. Someone watched John Oliver the other night...........
